Job Summary

Job Description

This role is responsible for ensuring daily production and cable supply program compliance. The Manufacturing Technician will manage resources to meet quality, delivery, and productivity goals in the Cutting area, ensuring adherence to Quality and Manufacturing Systems. Key duties include facilitating Natural Work Groups, achieving waste reduction targets, maintaining a safe environment, implementing engineering changes, and promoting continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves ensuring compliance with EOS, Environmental, and Safety procedures, and conducting health and safety risk assessments.
Must have:
  • Achieve daily production and cable supply program compliance.
  • Administer resources for quality, delivery, and productivity in Cutting area.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality and Manufacturing Systems in Cutting area.
  • Facilitate Natural Work Groups in Cutting area.
  • Meet waste objective.
  • Maintain safe and conflict-free work environment.
  • Implement engineering and model year changes.
  • Promote continuous improvement in Cutting and Cable preparation.
  • Comply with EOS, Environmental, and Safety procedures.
  • Evaluate and analyze Health and Safety risks.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing system

Job Details

Required Competencies/Skills

  • Knowledge of Manufacturing system (Preferably)

Operation and programming of cutting machines

Basic knowledge of Office

General Functions

  • Achieve compliance with the daily production and cable supply program.
  • Administer assigned resources to achieve expected quality, delivery, and productivity objectives in the Cutting area.
  • Ensure compliance with the Quality System and Manufacturing Systems in the Cutting area.
  • Ensure and facilitate the functioning of Natural Work Groups in the Cutting area.
  • Meet the waste objective in the area.
  • Maintain a safe and conflict-free work environment.
  • Ensure the implementation of engineering changes and model year changes.
  • Promote and ensure the implementation of continuous improvement plans in the Cutting and Cable preparation area.
  • Ensure compliance with the instructions and/or procedures of the EOS, Environmental, and Safety system.
  • Evaluation and analysis of Health and Safety risks
  • Any other work activity related to your position
