About the role:

We’re looking for our second Performance Marketer to expand and scale our existing paid marketing program. You’ll be focused on paid marketing efforts for our web product — though you may work on iOS and Android as well — and feel comfortable running campaigns across different channels in different languages. You’re able to take a quickly growing program and keep it organized and on track as we scale budgets, launch new features, and run experiments. You pride yourself on being detail-oriented and having a high bar for quality, but feel comfortable moving quickly to iterate and learn more in a given month.

On a day-to-day basis, you’ll immerse yourself in Google Search and Apple Search Ads, as well as support other performance marketing team members across various advertising platforms. You’ll identify new opportunities to drive further growth, run experiments to test new strategies and launch fresh tactics to keep our campaigns growing. You’re eager to dive in and feel excited about managing the ins and outs of paid marketing within our rapidly growing startup. You always approach decision-making with a data-driven mindset.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working in a performance marketing role, with a specialization in running paid search campaigns on web (but with a curiosity and desire to branch out as needed).

  • Proven proficiency in Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other web acquisition platforms.

  • A desire to move quickly and experiment, with a good nose for impact. You like testing things, but also have a good sense of which tests are impactful (and which aren’t).

  • A comfort with and desire to pull your own metrics; you have experience building out spreadsheets or other systems that help you monitor performance and pacing, and can slice and dice data as needed (whether that’s pulled from in-platform data, or a product analytics tool like Mixpanel).

  • An ability to make thoughtful budget decisions, balancing spend across channels and campaigns, and thinking through incrementally and attribution.

  • Experience working cross-functionally, closely collaborating with functions ranging from Brand Design to Engineering and Analytics.

  • A technical understanding of how to set up conversion tracking across various channels and platforms (specifically on web); you feel comfortable executing parts independently, and guiding Engineering teams where you need help.

  • A high level of organization; you’re adept at juggling multiple tasks and priorities, and have a system to ensure things don’t slip through the cracks.

  • A comfort operating as a one-person show where needed, which includes writing strong, succinct copy.

Bonus Points:

  • You have familiarity with paid social, and some experience running ads for iOS or Android apps

Benefits:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans

  • 401K with employer match

  • Commuter Benefits

  • Catered lunch multiple days per week

  • Dinner stipend every night if you're working late and want a bite!

  • Doordash DashPass subscription

  • Health & Wellness Perks (Talkspace, Kindbody, One Medical subscription, HealthAdvocate, Teladoc)

  • Multiple team offsites per year with team events every month

  • Generous PTO policy and flexible WFH days
