Collaboration with Production, PR, Operations, and external vendors is crucial. The Project Manager will leverage cutting-edge media technologies, including automation systems, workflow tools, and cloud-based solutions, to optimize workflows. Responsibilities include developing project plans, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, managing resources, ensuring quality control, and reporting to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project management within the media and marketing industry, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with project management tools.

Job Description:

VX Media team is seeking a Project Manager to push through projects within the Production Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in:

  • Maintaining timely project execution with quality
  • Coordinating and bridging cross-departmental projects
  • Hardening and Refreshing Technical Infrastructure
  • Migrating workflows to advanced technology stacks

The Project Manager will collaborate across Production, PR, operations and liaise with third-party vendors to deliver high quality projects. Working closely with cutting-edge media technologies—including automation systems, workflow tools, cloud-based solutions, advanced finance and business tools and scheduling systems—you’ll help shape the company’s agenda on workflow optimization.

Candidates will be evaluated based on multiple factors, and may be placed on to intern or contractor roles for 3 months if certain criterion are not met.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate between internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Identify risks and devise mitigation strategies.
  • Manage resources effectively to optimize project efficiency.
  • Ensure quality control at every stage of the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and integrate best practices into workflows.
  • Guide cross-functional teams to execute and deliver business-critical initiatives.
  • Develop and implement project management tools and best practices, including task lists, issue tracking, and timelines.
  • Provide consistent project updates and communication to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Manage all aspects of projects, ensuring accountability and a high level of ownership throughout.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project management in the Media and Marketing Industry (minimum 2-3 years preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited college or university.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt and solve problems in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Trello, Asana, Jira, or similar).
  • Familiarity with media production workflows, Agile methodologies.
  • A passion for driving projects to successful outcomes.
