Job Description
The role involves developing, deploying, maintaining, and operating Saviynt solutions in alignment with federal compliance standards. Key responsibilities include performing customer deployments, migrations, and upgrades in cloud environments, installing and configuring Saviynt products, and troubleshooting incidents. The engineer will manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, automating manual tasks, and resolving cloud-related infrastructure issues. Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure setup using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, and collaborating with development, operations, and QA teams are crucial. Ensuring compliance with security and quality standards, creating technical documentation, and designing solutions to automate cloud-environment provisioning are also part of the job. The position emphasizes developing automation scripts to streamline processes and reduce errors, along with configuring and deploying monitoring tools.
Must have:
- Master's degree in Engineering or 7+ years software engineering experience
- Strong Identity and Access Management (IAM) domain knowledge
- Experience building, scaling, monitoring SaaS infrastructure
- 7 years supporting AWS/Azure environments
- 7 years working within Linux environments
- 5 years supporting Network Integration using cloud native services
- 5 years working in a DevOps or CI/CD environment
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI)
- Experience with Git version control
- 5 years experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- 5 years scripting experience (Python, Java, or BASH preferred)
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
- Experience with public cloud services (Azure, AWS)
- Experience with network features (BGP, routing)
- Extensive database operations & MySQL experience
- Experience invoking REST/SOAP web services
- 5 years IAM experience with Federal compliance focus
- Strong cybersecurity principles understanding
Good to have:
- Experience with cloud formation, ARM, Chef, Puppet
- Experience with web APIs
- Experience with Postman

Job Details
This position will play a key role in developing, deploying, maintaining, and operating Saviynt solution in alignment with Federal compliance standards and platform capabilities. Your expertise will contribute to maintain and operate identity access management solutions using Saviynt’s EIC platform, meeting compliance and quality.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Perform customer deployments, migrations, and upgrades in the cloud
- environment.
- Installing and configuring Saviynt product(s) following installation procedure and organizational guidelines
- Troubleshooting and resolving incidents while collaborating with the development and IT teams to minimize downtime and maintain service quality
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Monitor cloud resources to ensure availability and scalability.
- Automate any manual work being performed pre/during/post deployments.
- Troubleshoot cloud-related infrastructure incidents and issues.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and efficient software delivery. Monitor and troubleshoot issues within the CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate infrastructure setup and maintenance using Infrastructure as Code(IaC) tools.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to improve deployment processes.
- Maintain compliance with security and quality standards throughout the CI/CD pipeline
- Creating and maintaining technical documents for cloud infrastructure and related processes.
- Design and implement novel solutions to automate cloud-environment provisioning.
- Developing automation solutions to streamline processes, such as creating scripts to run specific tasks on systems. Developing and implementing automation scripts to reduce repetitive tasks and eliminate human error. Configuring and deploying monitoring tools
WHAT YOU BRING
- Master’s Degree in an Engineering discipline, or a bachelor’s degree and 7+years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong Domain knowledge in Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Experience building, scaling & monitoring infrastructure needed for SaaS based application and services
- 7 years supporting AWS/Azure environments and native services
- 7 years working within Linux (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS) environments
- 5 years supporting Network Integration using cloud native services
- 5 years working within a DevOps or CI/CD environment
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- 5 years working experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker,
- Kubernetes)
- 5 years scripting (preferred languages Python, Java, or BASH)
- Expertise in infrastructure as code (e.g., cloud formation, ARM, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
- Experience with configuring, deploying, and operating public cloud services (e.g.)Azure, AWS)
- Experience with network features, e.g., cloud network topology, BGP, routing, web (REST) APIs
- Database: Extensive experience in database operations & MySQL
- Experience in invoking REST/SOAP web services using tools such as Postman.
- 5 years of experience in identity and access management with a focus on Federal compliance.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
