Job Description

As a Senior Cloud Service Provider Application Engineer at NVIDIA, you'll collaborate with CSPs and internal teams to develop future GPU-accelerated data center architectures. Responsibilities include integrating NVIDIA's GPU solutions into customer data center products, defining system-level requirements, optimizing system performance, and resolving technical design issues. You'll work with hardware, firmware, and software teams, contributing to the design and validation process, from initial concepts to deployment. This role is crucial for driving NVIDIA's next-generation GPU solutions into high-growth markets like AI and advanced computing.
Must have:
  • 8+ years experience in server product design and integration
  • x86 server architecture understanding
  • PCIe, DDR, Infiniband knowledge
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Good to have:
  • ARM based solutions experience
  • BMC architecture familiarity

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Application Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with other key hardware design teams to help enable NVIDIA's next generation GPU-based server products. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality and reliability, optimizing system performance, and improving the integration process. You will help to engage with customers on early concepts and help them with integration of design and validation all the way to deployment as part of the overall engineering organization. What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate with major cloud service providers (CSP), other key OEM customers, and internal teams to help develop future GPU-accelerated data center architectures and roadmaps

  • Collaborate with hardware design, firmware, software, and validation teams to integrate NVIDIA's GPU-based solutions into our customers' data center products

  • Define system-level requirements and specifications for server products for x86 and ARM based solutions, and maintain design documentation, test plans and other enablement collateral

  • Analyze and optimize system performance, power consumption and thermal integration

  • Help solve deeper server system technical design level issues at every level

  • Work with other highly experienced domain expert teams at NVIDIA to ensure customer solutions are outstandingly optimized for the highest performance servers in the world

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 8+ years of proven experience in system-level design and integration of server products from concept to deployment.

  • Solid understanding of x86 server architecture, PCIe, DDR, Infiniband and high-speed interconnects

  • Basic understanding of BMC (Baseboard Management Controller) architecture, I2C (SMBus), power management and critical system telemetry controls

  • Familiarity with Linux OS and command line experience

  • Knowledge of the latest PCIe Gen4 and Gen5 technical interface challenges

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills

The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 310,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
