Highspot is seeking a Senior Product Manager for their Agent Platform team, reporting to the Director of Product Management. The role focuses on shaping product strategy, particularly leveraging generative AI to solve customer problems. Responsibilities include collaborating with design, user research, and engineering to explore GenAI applications for workflow enhancement, automation, and insights. The Senior Product Manager will identify, define, validate, and ship innovative features, working closely with customers and stakeholders to create strategic roadmaps and prioritize requirements. Key activities involve becoming an expert on the software and market, executing tactical and strategic projects, and collaborating cross-functionally with teams like product marketing and customer success. This role requires analyzing customer and usage data, staying informed on industry trends, and working with engineering teams to ship high-quality products. The ideal candidate is passionate about emerging technologies, possesses customer empathy, technical curiosity, and product rigor, and can effectively communicate complex ideas.
Must have:
- Over 5 years of experience as a product manager
- Experience in agile, Scrum, or Kanban environments
- Experience with complex user scenarios and multiple personas
- Ability to understand intricate systems and deliver user experiences
- Detail-oriented with a focus on customer experience polish
- Experience defining strategic roadmaps from ambiguous data
- Strong communication skills for strategy and roadmap dissemination
- Experience as a product owner leading cross-functional teams
- Technical understanding of concepts and trade-offs
- Ability to handle concurrent projects and reprioritize
- Strong data skills in quantitative analytics and qualitative research
- Willingness to work outside defined role when needed

About The Role
In this role, you will join the Product Management team and report to the Director of Product Management. As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping Highspot’s product strategy, with a strong focus on leveraging generative AI to solve real customer problems. At Highspot, Product Management is a highly collaborative function. You’ll work closely with design, user research, and engineering to explore how GenAI can enhance workflows, drive automation, and deliver insights. Your deep understanding of AI capabilities—and your ability to translate them into practical applications—will be critical in delivering customer value. This role offers significant ownership within the product portfolio, giving you the opportunity to identify, define, validate, and ship innovative and differentiated features. What You'll Do
- You will work with customers and stakeholders to create a strategic roadmap, prioritize problems, and define requirements, then manage the backlog through the product development process from discovery to general availability.
- You will become an expert on our software, customers, and our market, and be able to identify, prioritize, and execute both tactical and strategic projects.
- You work well cross-functionally with other teams, such as executives, product marketing, and customer success, ensuring their objectives are met, their opinions are considered, and plans are effectively communicated.
- You will collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to inform the shaping of requirements, features, and end products.
- You will dig deep into customer and usage data to identify opportunities and evaluate the success of our efforts.
- You will work closely with industry experts to understand industry direction and trends and identify R&D opportunities that can set us apart from the competition.
Your Background
- This is a senior-level position. You have been building software products for some time and have over 5 years of experience shipping products as a product manager in an agile, Scrum, or Kanban environment.
- You have experience working on complex user scenarios, with multiple personas interacting through the tool.
- You have experience understanding intricate systems and partnering with Design to deliver simple yet powerful user experiences.
- You are incredibly detail-oriented and enjoy polishing the experience of your customers.
- You are experienced at taking ideas and ambiguous data, defining the right outcome, and creating the right roadmap or backlog to get there.
- You have experience defining a strategic roadmap that leverages multiple inputs, including user research, customer data, and company initiatives.
- You can communicate the strategy and roadmap to execs, team members, and customers.
- As a product owner, you have worked with engineering teams and demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams to ship high-quality products.
- This is a technical role; you will work directly with senior engineers and instinctively understand technical concepts and trade-offs.
- You can comfortably handle many concurrent projects and tasks, and instinctively reprioritize them often without needing guidance. Highspot is in the growth and scaling stage, and you will be comfortable with the level of ambiguity and workload that entails.
- You are a strong communicator and can lead teams through difficult decisions.
- You have strong data skills in quantitative analytics and qualitative user research.
- You can roll up your sleeves and work outside your defined role when needed.
Desired Qualifications
- You have experience building products for sales, marketing, or other customer-facing teams.
- You have experience in B2B SaaS and understand the mechanics and economics of a SaaS business.
- You have experience building products that leverage machine learning and Generative AI technology.
- You have a technical degree or equivalent work experience.
Base salary range: $166,000 - $272,000
Employees are eligible to receive stock options and may also receive other forms of compensation.
The above represents total expected compensation for this role. Actual compensation will depend on various job-related factors, including, but not limited to, location, experience, and job qualifications.
