Silicon Product eFA Engineer

9 Hours ago • 10 Years + • Product Management

Job Summary

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced eFA Engineer with a strong background in fault isolation and failure analysis of complex SoCs. This high-impact role will allow you to influence design quality and ensure silicon sign-off specifications are met. You will collaborate with various internal teams at Rivos and external vendors. Responsibilities include performing device-level fault isolation for new product development, yield excursions, qualification, and customer returns. You will design experiments using Scan, MBIST, and Functional test patterns to pinpoint root causes of manufacturing defects and speed path issues during Silicon bring-up and validation. Additionally, you will drive failure analysis and corrective actions with the Foundry and OSAT, and provide crucial feedback to PD, STA, and DFT teams for design enhancements. Occasional travel may be required.
Must have:
  • Minimum 10 years experience in FA/FI of IC devices
  • Proficiency with electrical fault isolation tools
  • Understanding of CAD layout, ATE, and device physics
  • Familiarity with IC failure mechanisms
  • PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's in a technical subject
Good to have:
  • Expertise in SoC Product Engineering
  • Expertise in DFT
