Job Description

DNEG seeks a Talent Acquisition professional to partner with hiring teams, building talent pipelines for various departments. This full-cycle recruitment role involves identifying, attracting, screening, interviewing, and managing the offer process for diverse vacancies across seniority levels. The successful candidate will contribute to event planning, marketing, and representation at industry events. The ideal candidate possesses 3-5 years of recruiting experience (in-house or agency), specializing in technical and/or creative roles. A strong network within VFX is advantageous. Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills are essential.
Must have:
  • Proven recruiting success (3-5 years)
  • Technical/creative role recruitment experience
  • Variety of selection & interview methods experience
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Excellent communication & influencing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/deadlines
  • Success in hiring across seniority levels
Good to have:
  • VFX, animation, or games recruitment experience

Position at DNEG

The role of  Talent Acquisition at DNEG is to partner with the hiring teams in your client groups and is, therefore, an influential and critical one. The role is responsible for building a pipeline of potential talent for a group of departments, so an existing network within VFX would be hugely advantageous. This is a full-cycle recruitment role, therefore you will need to rapidly identify, attract and screen potential candidates for a wide variety of vacancies, as well as interview and manage the offer to hire process at all levels of seniority. A positive, helpful and can-do attitude, as well as impeccable written and verbal communication skills, are a must.
 
We also hold and attend events both internally and externally, in locations all around the world. You will contribute to researching and proposing suitable events for the studio to have a presence at, as well as support the marketing and advertising of our presence, and represent us at these key events.
 
This role would suit someone looking to move into an in-house role from an agency environment or taking the next step in their recruitment career within an exciting creative and technical business.
 
Must Have
  • Proven success as a recruiter, either in-house or agency (minimum of 3 to 5 years of  experience)
  • Experience recruiting for technical and/or creative roles
  • Hands-on experience with a variety of selection, testing and assessment, and interview types
  • Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Demonstrable success in hiring at all levels of seniority
 
Nice to Have
  • Previous experience recruiting for Visual Effects, Animation or Games
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or strong academic record
  • Knowledge of immigration policy and work permit processes
