As an Android Game Developer, you will work within multifunctional teams to develop the Android app for Online Soccer Manager (OSM). Your responsibilities include maintaining the app, developing new features, fixing bugs, and releasing updates to users. You will actively collaborate with your team members and participate in code reviews. You are expected to translate creative designs into technical solutions and stay updated on the latest developments in app development, sharing your knowledge with colleagues. You will also actively contribute content to scrum meetings, including daily scrum, retrospectives, planning, refinement, and reviews.

Must have:

Completed a relevant HBO or WO study.
2+ years of experience in software development.
Experience in large complex projects.
Excellent with Kotlin/Java.
Hands-on, solution-oriented, proactive, and analytical.
Works in a structured way with architecture.

Good to have:

Affinity with football & gaming.

What will you be doing at Miniclip?

As an Android Game Developer you work together in multifunctional teams on the development of the Android app from Online Soccer Manager (OSM). You do maintenance, develop new features, fix bugs and release them to our users. You actively collaborate with your team members and are responsible for, among other things, doing code checks on the work of your team members. You are strong in translating creative designs into technically sound solutions. You are always aware of the latest developments in the field of App development and you are only too happy to share this knowledge with your colleagues. It goes without saying that you enjoy actively contributing content to the scrum meetings: daily scrum, retro, planning, refinement and review.

What are we looking for?

Completed a relevant HBO or WO study;
2+ years of experience in software development and experience in large complex projects (preferably in a game studio).
You are excellent with Kotlin/Java;
Are hands-on, solution-oriented, proactive and analytical;
Works in a structured way and with a well thought-out architecture;
Are aware of the latest possibilities within Android and know how to translate these into practice;
Willingness to learn and the will to grow, professionally and personally;
Affinity with football & gaming is a bonus
