Job Description

As an Associate Director/Director of Enterprise Solution Sales (ID) at Appier, you will be responsible for selling and up-selling Appier's Enterprise solutions to new and existing clients in Indonesia. You will play a crucial role in supporting team revenue goals by driving sales, building relationships with clients, and leading a sales team. This is a hybrid role that begins as an individual contributor, allowing you to develop the Indonesian business and eventually lead a sales team, responsible for both country and individual quotas. You will manage the entire sales process, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closure, while evangelizing and selling Appier's enterprise solutions to prospective customers. You will also provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on deal progression and closure using established sales methodologies like MEDDIC. You will be instrumental in building Appier's market presence within the Indonesian business ecosystem. This opportunity is ideal for outstanding individual contributors seeking career progression.
Must have:
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and verbal)
  • Self-motivation and adaptability to fast-paced startup environments
  • 7-10 years of enterprise software sales experience, ideally in SaaS based offerings like Analytics, DMP, or Marketing systems
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota as an individual contributor
  • Established senior-level client contacts in Indonesia
  • Ability to communicate technical and business concepts effectively to mid/senior management and C-level executives

Appier is a technology company which aims to provide artificial intelligence platforms to help enterprises solve their most challenging business problems. Appier was established in 2012 by a passionate team of computer scientists and engineers with expertise in AI, data analysis, distributed systems, and marketing.

 

About the role

 

The Associate Director/Director of Enterprise Solution Sales(ID) is responsible for selling and up-selling Appier’s Enterprise solutions to new and existing clients and providing service in support of team revenue goals.

 

Task of the role

  • Start out as an individual contributor, building up the ID business and grow and lead a sales team, responsible for country(ID) quota and individual quota (Hybrid Role)
  • Self-managing the entire sales process from prospecting, qualification to negotiation and closure;
  • Able to evangelise and sell Appier’s enterprise solutions to prospective customers independently, having solid ability to manage the entire deal process from prospecting, qualification to negotiation and closure;
  • Able to provide direction and guidance to junior team members on deal progression to closure with established sales methodology(e.g. MEDDIC)
  • Build Appier’s market presence in Indonesia business ecosystem

About you

[Essential]

  • Must be able to communicate in English and Bahasa Indonesia both verbally and in writing
  • Self-motivated, able to adapt to an ambiguous, fast paced startup environment
  • Minimum 7-10 years of enterprise software sales experience; ideally SaaS based offerings in Analytics, DMP or Marketing systems
  • Track record of exceeding quota as an individual contributor is a must
  • Established senior level client contacts in Indonesia
  • Ability to communicate technical and business concepts effectively to customer’s mid/senior management as well as C-level executives

 

[Nice to have]

Professional knowledge of terminology, trends and concepts of Data and AI products.
