With a focus on India, KRAFTON is dedicated to nurturing the gaming and start-up ecosystem. In line with this commitment, KRAFTON initiated the KRAFTON India Gaming Incubator (KIGI) in October 2023. KIGI aims to support 6-10 teams annually with program durations ranging from six months to one year. Additionally, KRAFTON India has invested over $150 million in the Indian market in the past two years and has committed an additional $150 million to the Indian start-up ecosystem over the next three years.
About the role:
The Associate Program Manager will serve as a communication coordinator for our new Platform team. Core responsibility is to ensuring seamless coordination across business, development and support functions.
This position involves managing cross-departmental communication, procurement requests, regular status reporting, and logistical support to enable efficient departmental operations. It is ideal for a young and enthusiastic Indian professional passionate about working in the games industry.
The candidate must have a strong understanding of the games industry, project management and exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
1. Communication Coordination:
- Act as a communication co-ordinator between business departments such as the service team and content team, and support functions like IT and finance.
- Draft regular internal and external communications in English.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Prioritise, organize and communicate the work tasks impacting the platform business to different departments
- Lead coordination efforts to align tasks and projects across various teams, ensuring timely execution.
3. Procurement and Logistics Management:
- Raise and track requests for procurement of assets, travel arrangements, lodging, processing contracts and other departmental needs with the help of other support departments like legal, IT etc.
4. Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain a detailed weekly report of tasks completed across departments.
- Facilitate internal and external communication
5. Process and Communication Optimization:
- Identify opportunities to improve communication and coordination processes.
- Implement best practices to enhance cross-departmental collaboration and project execution.
- Address and resolve communication bottlenecks to maintain workflow efficiency.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in game production/ Game Project Management
- Strong understanding of the games industry and its operational dynamics
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill
- Proficiency in tools and software for project management and reporting
Preference:
- Native level fluency in Korean (including typing)
- Immediate joining availability
- A business or legal degree education
- Familiarity with procurement processes, contracts and administrative work
