The Global Marketing Lead for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS (PC/Console) will develop and execute marketing strategies to boost brand awareness, user engagement, and revenue. This role requires a deep understanding of gaming culture and industry trends, along with the ability to create innovative campaigns that resonate with gamers across various platforms and regions. You will lead strategic planning, brand positioning, campaign development, content creation, and community engagement, leveraging data analysis and cross-departmental collaboration to maximize marketing ROI.
Must have:
  • Develop comprehensive marketing plans aligned with business objectives and market trends.
  • Build and maintain a strong brand presence through partnerships and influencer collaborations.
  • Lead integrated marketing campaigns across social media, digital ads, events, and partnerships.
  • Plan and produce engaging content like videos, live streams, blogs, and social media posts.
  • Build relationships with gaming communities and develop UGC/viral marketing strategies.
  • Track and analyze marketing campaign performance using data analysis tools.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and new technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Merchandise, BD, PR) on marketing initiatives.
  • Efficiently manage marketing budgets and optimize spending for ROI.
  • Provide regular reports and presentations on marketing performance to management.

Introducing Our Team (Project)

The Global Marketing Lead for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS (PC/Console) will be responsible for operating an organization that develops and executes marketing strategies to increase product brand awareness, user engagement, and revenue. This role requires a deep understanding of gaming culture and industry trends, along with the ability to create innovative marketing campaigns that resonate with gamers across various platforms and key regions.

Our Mission Together

  • Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive marketing plans aligned with overall business objectives, target user demographics, and market trends in the gaming industry.
  • Brand Positioning: Build and maintain a strong brand presence within the gaming community through strategic partnerships and influencer collaborations.
  • Campaign Development: Lead the ideation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, digital advertising, events, and partnerships, collaborating with regional business units as HQ to maximize efficiency.
  • Content Creation: Work closely with internal creative teams or agencies to plan and produce engaging content tailored for the Battlegrounds audience, such as videos, live streaming content, blogs, and social media posts.
  • Community Engagement: Build relationships with gaming communities, forums, and online platforms, developing strategies for UGC and viral marketing to increase user community engagement.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools to track and analyze marketing campaign performance, identify areas for optimization, and measure ROI.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, including competitors, emerging trends, and technologies, and explore new marketing opportunities.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with internal organizations such as Merchandise, BD, and PR to lead PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS-related marketing initiatives at all touchpoints.
  • Budget Management: Efficiently manage marketing budgets, allocate resources effectively, and optimize spending to maximize the ROI of marketing expenses.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports and presentations to management on the performance of marketing initiatives, key metrics, and actionable insights for future strategies.

We want to grow with someone who has these experiences! (Required Qualifications)

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on the gaming industry.
  • High understanding and play experience of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS and Battle Royale, FPS games.
  • Business/marketing experience in global and local areas.
  • Experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns from new product launch to live service.
  • Practical leadership experience in global game products across various platforms (PC, Mobile, Console, etc.) and genres.
  • Proficiency in English (verbal, written) for smooth communication with global collaborating departments.
  • Strategic thinking and smooth communication skills to collaborate and exert influence with executives and internal/external senior partners.
  • Analytical mindset proficient in data analysis tools and metric-based decision making.
  • No disqualification for overseas business trips.
