Job Description
Binance, a leading global blockchain ecosystem, is seeking a Backend Engineer for its Risk Team as part of the Binance Accelerator Program. This program is designed for early-career talent to gain immersive experience in the Web3 space. The Backend Engineer will be responsible for implementing robust systems to detect and mitigate fraud, ensure compliance, and enhance platform security. This involves working closely with data scientists, security engineers, and product teams to build scalable, high-performance risk management solutions. The role requires developing backend services for real-time fraud detection, transaction monitoring, and risk analysis, building and maintaining scalable microservices for risk assessment models, and integrating machine learning models and risk scoring engines.
Must have:
- Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot)
- Understanding of distributed systems
- Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with message queues & streaming
- Strong analytical thinking
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly
Good to have:
- Basic frameworks, such as multithreading and networking
- Spring microservices, dubbo
- MySQL, Redis, Hive, Starrocks
- Kafka, RabbitMQ

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our Risk Team, responsible for implementing robust systems to detect and mitigate fraud, ensure compliance, and enhance platform security. You will work closely with data scientists, security engineers, and product teams to build scalable and high-performance risk management solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop backend services for real-time fraud detection, transaction monitoring, and risk analysis.
- Build and maintain scalable microservices to support risk assessment models and rule-based detection systems.
- Integrate machine learning models and risk scoring engines into backend systems
Requirements
- Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot), basic frameworks, such as multithreading and networking.
- Understanding of distributed systems, and Spring microservices, dubbo.
- Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (MySQL, Redis, Hive, Starrocks).
- Familiarity with message queues & streaming (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Strong analytical thinking, excellent teamwork skills, and a keen ability to learn and adapt quickly.
