One Network Enterprises (ONE), a Blue Yonder company, is seeking experienced Business Development and Sales executives to join its Global Defense Organization. The primary focus is to drive revenue growth and expand the company's footprint within US Department of Defense (DoD) organizations. Responsibilities include identifying, developing, and closing opportunities, building customer awareness, positioning ONE's capabilities, and nurturing account bases. Key objectives involve creating a qualified pipeline and achieving bookings and revenue targets. Candidates should possess strong account management skills and experience in logistics, with knowledge of existing DoD systems and key decision-makers.
Must have:
  • 7-10 years federal business development experience
  • Demonstrated success in developing and closing opportunities
  • Familiarity with DoD procurement cycles
  • Logistics experience/expertise
  • Knowledge of DoD systems and decision-makers
Good to have:
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Active DoD security clearance preferred

Overview:
One Network Enterprises (ONE), a Blue Yonder company, is the leader in supply chain autonomous planning, control towers, and provider of the Digital Supply Chain Network™ . One Network is looking for multiple Business Development and Sales executives to join One Network’s Global Defense Organization to help fuel the growth into US DoD organizations. Each role is an individual contributor as part of a larger team, and will be focused to identify, develop and close opportunities in assigned DoD organizations or solution area. The key objectives for success are developing customer awareness, positioning ONE capabilities in both emerging and known opportunities, building a qualified pipeline, and ultimately bookings and revenue. Account management skills are necessary to nurture and grow account base. 

Preferred geographic location is the National Capital Region (NCR). Other geographies may be available based on experience.

Location: Remote (must be in DC Metro)

What you'll do:

  • This role is critical in driving revenue growth and expanding our organizations footprint within assigned organizations and/or areas of focus.

  • Identify, qualify, and capture opportunities aligned with the company’s capabilities and strategic goals

  • Develop and execute an effective business development strategy targeting assigned organizations/focus areas.

  • Working with Partner Alliance resources, identify contract vehicles and opportunities to maximize competitive positioning

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including federal contracting officers, program managers, and industry partners, to foster new opportunities

  • Lead the capture process for opportunities in assigned areas, including developing capture strategies, win themes, and pricing approaches, and collaborate with internal teams to prepare compliant, high-quality RFI responses and proposals.

  • Conduct market research to stay informed of relevant trends, upcoming procurements, and competitor activities, while analyzing federal budgets and contracting forecasts to identify key growth areas

  • Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR) and other regulatory requirements throughout the business development lifecycle, maintaining accurate records in the company’s CRM and reporting progress to leadership regularly

  • Partner with technical teams, program managers, and subject matter experts to align proposals with customer needs and requirements, and develop and manage teaming agreements with subcontractors or prime contractors as necessary

  • Active participation in related Industry Associations and Groups for networking, expanding the awareness of One Network within the Defense community, and early awareness of business opportunities.

  • Candidates should have demonstrated logistics experience/expertise, knowledge of existing systems in use and organization/key users and decision makers in one or more of the following areas: All Service Arms (especially US Army, US Navy, USMC), COCOMs/DLA, VA/DHA, Specific Supply Classes (e.g., Fuels, Munitions, Medical, etc.)

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in federal business development in assigned areas.  Equivalent domain expertise in assigned areas desired and may be substituted.

  • Demonstrated success in developing and closing opportunities

  • Familiarity with DoD procurement cycles and contract vehicles.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance, if required. Active clearance preferred.

The base salary range for this position is: $140,000-$160,000

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
