Job Description

Cirrus Asset Management is seeking a Floating Assistant Community Manager to assist with leasing efforts and marketing programs for its properties. The role involves managing day-to-day operations across various properties, building relationships with tenants and vendors, and handling maintenance requests, leasing tasks, and financial oversight. The position requires travel between properties to provide expertise where needed. Responsibilities include meeting leasing performance standards, placing approved advertising, processing applications, conducting credit checks, managing building occupancy and maintenance, communicating with tenants about property issues, collecting rent, distributing notices for non-payment, and conducting move-out inspections. Must have:
  • Minimum of two years property management/leasing experience
  • Experience with 100+ units
  • Reliable method of transportation
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Skilled in time management and task prioritization
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of Property Management software: Yardi

Job Description

  • Assists with the total leasing efforts and integrated marketing programs of one or more communities.
  • Step in to manage day-to-day operations across various properties in our portfolio.
  • Build relationships with tenants, vendors, and team members, ensuring satisfaction and success.
  • Handle maintenance requests, leasing tasks, and financial oversight with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Travel between properties, offering your expertise wherever it's needed.
  • Assists with the total leasing efforts and integrated marketing programs of the community.
  • Meets established company standards related to closing ratio on qualified walk-in traffic and phone to traffic ratio on qualified sales calls.
  • Places advertising that has been approved by the Manager, online or in print, when directed by supervisor.
  • Processes applications and conducts credit checks.
  • Assists in managing all aspects of a building’s occupancy and maintenance.
  • Communicates professionally with tenants regarding property-related issues.
  • Collects and processes rent payments.
  • Produces and distributes appropriate notices for non-payment of rent timely and within regulations. 
  • Conducts apartment inspections upon move out to complete the statement of deposit within the state set timelines.
  • Walks property and ready units to ensure quality and cleanliness. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two or more years property management/leasing experience with 100+ units - Required
  • Reliable method of transportation. - Required
  • Knowledge of Property Management software: Yardi - Preferred
  • Must have excellent computer skills as well as proficiency in the following software programs: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • ​​​​​​Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Additional Information

Multiple site in the Federal Way Area

$27-$30 hourly

Monday - Friday (8am-5pm)
