This internship offers exposure to all areas of the licensing business at WildBrain CPLG in Taiwan. The intern will work closely with the sales team, focusing on character licensing (Peanuts), product development across various categories (toys, fashion, food, etc.), marketing/social media, and brand management. Responsibilities include supporting the Asia-Pacific licensing business for Peanuts, Sonic, Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and Woodstock; providing marketing support; maintaining relationships with licensees and partners; supporting royalty reporting and sales planning; and contributing to the Taiwan marketing plan. The internship provides valuable industry experience in an international business setting.
Must have:
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Minimum 6-month commitment, 3 days/week
  • Support sales team, marketing & royalty reporting

About the Job/Role

WildBrain is offering an amazing opportunity for an internship for student to gain exposure to all areas of the licensing business within WildBrain CPLG in Taiwan.

You will work closely to sales team. You will learn about licensing especially on Character licensing (Peanuts). You will involve with product development across categories including toys & games, fashion & apparel, food & beverages & many more. You will also involve with Marketing/Social media and Brand Management; this placement will give valuable industry experience and insight into the operations of a successful international business.

Job Description

  • Responsible for the Asia-Pacific licensing business of Peanuts LLC, Sonic, which includes Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and Woodstock, and promotes the licensing business in Taiwan.
  • To participate in licensing business and work closely with the sales team to provide marketing support if needed.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with licensees, licensors, partners, and retailers (as applicable).
  • Support the sales team with high standards of royalty reporting/payments or other information.
  • Integrate and collect market updates and provide support on sales plan.
  • To support the Taiwan Marketing plan and effectively communicate with internal and external partner.
  • Any other administrative work as needed.

Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good verbal and written skills in English and additional languages preferred.

The minimum commitment for this internship is 6 months, with a requirement of at least 3 days of work per week.
