The Marketing Manager, Paid Media will lead day-to-day media activation for FIFA World Cup 26™ Official Hospitality. Responsibilities include strategic and tactical buying of traditional and digital media (OOH, Print, OLV, CTV, Audio, Display), managing contracts, partner relationships, and campaign execution. The role requires proficiency in platforms like Google Ads, Bing Ads, and META Ads Manager, strong analytical skills, and experience in A/B testing and performance reporting. Collaboration with digital, marketing, creative, and analytics teams is crucial for developing and implementing effective media strategies and optimizing campaigns for improved performance. The candidate will also monitor campaign pacing, budgets, and ensure efficient allocation to maximize ROAS.

We are seeking a passionate and high performing Marketing Manager, Paid Media to support our integrated media and paid acquisition efforts for the FIFA World Cup 26™ Official Hospitality. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated expertise across various media channels including digital platforms such as Paid Search & Social and planning traditional media such as OOH and Print. This position should have prior media planning and buying experience and understand how digital fits in the overall marketing/media strategy. 

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Paid Media & Performance Marketing, you will collaborate with digital, marketing, creative, and analytics teams to develop and implement media strategies, buying advertising space and time, and optimizing campaigns on partner and tactical platforms The role of the Marketing Manager, Paid Media is to be the day-to-day lead on the account’s media and communication needs with relevant internal and external partners. A successful candidate has the potential ability to juggle multiple projects and should be driven, detail-oriented, a strong collaborator, and excited for this rare opportunity.   

 
Key Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for strategic and tactical buying of traditional and digital media (e.g., OOH, Print, OLV, CTV, Audio, Display), including managing contracts, partner relationships, and campaign execution. 

  • Lead day-to-day media activation, budget and billing management, and ensure media buy hygiene by monitoring pacing and optimizing campaigns with media partners and ad tech for improved performance. 

  • Collect and manage creative specification sheets to be shared with the Creative team prior to production. 

  • Assist with global performance marketing campaigns across Paid Search (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads) and Paid Social (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube) to drive campaign KPIs. 

  • Monitor campaign pacing and budgets, ensuring efficient allocation to maximize ROAS while meeting CPA and conversion targets. 

  • Work with the Data Analytics team to analyze campaign performance, identify trends, and make data-backed recommendations for optimization. 

  • Provide real-time insights and performance forecasts to inform key stakeholders and adjust strategies based on event demands. 

  • Utilize Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Looker, Tableau, and other data visualization tools to track success metrics and identify opportunities for growth. 

  • Conduct competitive benchmarking to evaluate FIFA World Cup 26™ campaigns relative to industry trends and identify opportunities for increased visibility and engagement. 

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices to improve marketing effectiveness and introduce innovative strategies. 

 

Qualifications 

  • 3-5+ years in managing multi-media campaigns across platforms for clients including but not limited to planning, buying, and negotiating digital as well as paid social media campaigns: display, video, mobile, native, etc. 

  • Proficiency with platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, META Ads Manager, and TikTok Ads. Experience with global analytics tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar. 

  • Strong understanding of performance marketing and digital advertising best practices 

  • Demonstrate analytical skills with experience in A/B testing, data analysis, and performance reporting, ideally on an international scale. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey complex insights and campaign performance to cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, managing multiple campaigns across regions and adjusting strategies based on data insights and event demands. 

  • Agency experience is a plus

Hiring Range Minimum:

$67,500 annually

Hiring Range Maximum:
