The Product Specialist I – Instant Games will collaborate with the Product Manager to ensure the successful launch of Scratch-Off and Fast Play games. Responsibilities include developing and executing annual product and promotion plans, researching new game ideas, managing production, analyzing game performance, developing project timelines, reviewing working papers, creating resource documents, coordinating second-chance promotions (including Million Dollar Replay), and presenting product reviews. The role also involves developing product claims for advertising and reviewing point-of-sale assets. A Bachelor's degree in business or marketing is preferred, but equivalent experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

 

The Product Specialist – Instant Games will work directly with the Product Manager to ensure flawless execution of all Scratch-Off and Fast Play game launch plans and other initiatives designed to deliver annual sales goals.

 

• Work with the Product Manager to support the development and execution of annual product and promotion plans for all Scratch-Off and Fast Play games to achieve annual sales goals and maintain a robust portfolio of Lottery Scratch-Off and Fast Play products that meet the instant gaming needs of NJ Lottery players.
• Research Scratch-Off and Fast Play product and promotional ideas, help develop and coordinate annual launch schedules, help manage all production stages of the launch process and analyze the game performance throughout each game’s lifecycle.
• Work with the Product Manager to develop and maintain project timelines and activities associated with the monthly launches of new Scratch-Off and Fast Play products.
• Assist with the review and internal routing of Scratch-Off and Fast Play working papers.
• Assist with the development and management of product resource documents, policies and procedures.
• Assist the Product Manager with developing and coordinating second chance promotions associated with Scratch-Offs and Fast Play games, including Million Dollar Replay.
• Develop and present product and promotion review presentations for internal staff .
• Support the Product Manager in the development of relevant product claims statements for advertising agency product briefings, internal communications and other necessary education associated with all new Scratch-Off and Fast Play products and promotions.
• Review and approve point-of-sale and digital assets in relation to Scratch-Off and Fast Play launches and promotions.
 

Qualifications

 

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or marketing preferred; equivalent experience acceptable.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently yet thrive in a team environment including the ability to motivate and lead cross functional teams without direct line responsibility.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to perform under tight deadlines is critical.
