Job Title: Production Planner
Working Pattern: 37 hours days
Working location: Derby Raynesway
We have an exciting role to join our Submarines business as a Production Planner working within the New Build and Component teams. Our nuclear business is a leader in propulsion system design and development for the Royal Navy’s nuclear submarine fleet and the sole provider and technical authority, managing all aspects of plant design, safety, manufacture, performance, and through-life support.
Working within the Large Vessels control account team you will be wholly responsible for your defined portfolio of products & components (parts / items). You will drive on time delivery through effective planning whilst maintaining ERP and supporting systems. Working within an operational team you will identify, prioritize, mitigate, and resolve delivery issues within manufacturing and supply chain that may impact the customer. You will maintain the SAP planning system with relevant current data and information, whilst ensuring that any inventory is optimized. You are governed by the relevant company polices and processes.

To work for the Rolls-Royce Submarines business an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently already have this in place.
