DevRev is seeking a highly skilled non-tech recruiter to join their People Operations team in Bengaluru or Chennai, India. The recruiter will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for various non-technical roles. This involves collaborating with hiring managers to understand needs, developing recruitment strategies, sourcing candidates through various channels, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. The role also includes coordinating interviews, contributing to employer branding, managing candidate data in the ATS, and generating recruitment reports. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in non-tech recruiting within the technology industry and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of recruiter experience (non-tech)
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
  • End-to-end recruitment process management
  • ATS and recruitment tool familiarity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Good to have:
  • Experience in a global company

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced non-tech recruiter to join our People Operations team, based in Bengaluru or Chennai, India. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for various non-technical roles at DevRev. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers, understanding business needs, and implementing effective recruitment strategies to build a diverse and skilled workforce.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaboration with Hiring Managers:

    • Work closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
    • Maintain regular communication to ensure alignment on hiring priorities, timelines, and candidate profiles.
  2. Sourcing and Talent Acquisition:

    • Utilize various sourcing channels to identify and attract high-caliber candidates.
    • Conduct proactive talent searches, networking, and outreach to build a robust pipeline of potential candidates.
  3. Candidate Evaluation and Screening:

    • Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications against job requirements.
    • Provide insightful recommendations to hiring managers, ensuring a high-quality candidate selection process.
  4. Interview Coordination:

    • Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience.
    • Collaborate with interview panels to gather feedback and make informed hiring decisions.
  5. Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing:

    • Contribute to the development and execution of employer branding initiatives.
    • Create engaging job descriptions and collaborate with marketing teams for effective recruitment marketing.
  6. Data Management and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
    • Generate regular reports on recruitment metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience as recruiter (non-tech) in the technology industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience working in a global company is a plus.
