Must have:
  • Deep knowledge of Design for Reliability (DfR) in product development.
  • Expertise in Life Data analysis, Reliability Growth, Availability/Maintainability Modeling and Prediction.
  • Proficient with Reliability tools: Reliasoft, Windchill Quality, Weibull Analysis, Blocksim, Lambda Predict, RBD, RGA, FTA, HALT, ALT.
  • Experience in FMEA and other risk analysis methods.
  • Deep knowledge of Prediction standards: MIL-HDBK-217, Telcordia SR-332, NPRD, EPRD.
  • Understanding of reliability data, analysis, and interpretation of product life.
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and tools like JMP, Minitab.
  • Effective communication with global cross-functional teams.
  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Mechanical design engineering and system engineering.
  • Knowledge of Mechanical & Electro-Mechanical components, manufacturing methods, and failure mechanisms.
  • Knowledge in Risk assessment and SEMI standards.
  • Experience in system level architectural design (mechanical, electrical, control, SW).
  • Experience in automation software (e.g., LabVIEW) and Control System Design.
  • Knowledge of industry test standards (e.g., IEC, UL).
  • Hands-on experience with sensors and Data Acquisition Systems (DAQ).
  • Knowledge of destructive and non-destructive test methods and failure analysis.
  • Hands-on individual willing to work in a competitive lab environment.
  • Strong work ethics and high morality.
  • Excellent team player with collaborative behavior.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work with different time zones and cultural backgrounds.

  • B. Tech / M. Tech / PhD in Mechanical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 8-10 years of relevant industry and Reliability Engineering experience.

  • Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE)
  • Experience in Semiconductor equipment or similar high-tech industry

Key Skillsets

  • Deep knowledge of Design for Reliability (DfR) and its application in product development life cycle
  • Expertise in Life Data analysis, Reliability Growth, Availability / Maintainability Modeling and Prediction with strong Reliability Engineering fundamentals
  • Proficient with Reliability tools like Reliasoft & Windchill Quality - Weibull Analysis, Blocksim, Lambda Predict, Reliability Block Diagram (RBD), Reliability Growth Analysis (RGA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), HALT, Accelerated Life Test (ALT), Repairable system analysis by using NHPP function, Spare parts & Warranty estimation, AFT modeling and Availability & Maintainability modeling
  • Experience in driving FMEA and other risk analysis methods in product development process
  • Deep knowledge of Prediction standards like MIL-HDBK-217, Telcordia SR-332, NPRD, EPRD and its application in Predictive modeling
  • Deep understanding of reliability data, analysis and interpretation of product life, growth and other reliability parameters
  • Knowledge of statistical methods and tools (e.g. JMP, Minitab)
  • Communicate effectively with global cross-functional teams (at different time zones)
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

Job Specific Knowledge

  • Proficiency in Mechanical design engineering with a good understanding of system engineering.
  • Knowledge of Mechanical & Electro-Mechanical components, Manufacturing methods and related Failure Mechanisms / Physics of failure
  • Knowledge in Risk assessment and SEMI standards:
  • Experienced In system level architectural design. Ex: mechanical, electrical, control and SW architecture
  • Experience in automation software (e.g. LabVIEW) & Control System Design.
  • Knowledge of industry test standards (e.g. IEC, UL etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with sensors (e.g. temperature, pressure, flow, vibration, motion detection etc.) and related Data Acquisition Systems (DAQ)
  • Knowledge of destructive and non-destructive test methods and failure analysis
  • Experience in Semiconductor equipment or similar high-tech industry is preferable
