As Sales Director Pro Germany, you are responsible for the maintenance and expansion of POLITICO's Professional Services business ("Pro") in Germany – with a clear focus on revenue growth, customer retention, and market development. You act as a central interface between the international POLITICO Pro Teams in Brussels and Washington, D.C. and the German POLITICO team within Axel Springer's PREMIUM GROUP.
What you will move with us:
- you strategically develop the Pro business with a focus on cross- and upselling
- you manage key accounts and develop individual value-added solutions
- you identify market opportunities, build a sales pipeline, and close deals
- you specifically introduce new products to the market and manage their positioning
- you represent POLITICO at events in Germany and Brussels
- you work self-organized, entrepreneurially, and directly impact business success
- you coordinate with internal teams and optimize processes and tools
What you bring:
- you can demonstrate success in sales of complex products, ideally in the B2B sector, preferably even in a political environment
- you possess a strong hunter mentality combined with strategic thinking and a hands-on approach
- you work independently and solution-oriented – you feel comfortable in structurally flexible and international environments
- you are willing to travel regularly to Brussels as well as to customer appointments and events within Germany
- you have experience in dealing with complex stakeholder structures
- you have knowledge of or interest in the political system and relevant actors in Germany
- your German and English language skills are very good, both written and spoken
