Job Description

This role is for a Senior Financial Analyst within the Finance Integration Management Office, supporting mergers and acquisitions. Responsibilities include preparing deal analyses (net working capital, closing payment schedules), reviewing projected financials, monitoring liquidity, supporting forecasting, performing ad hoc analyses, and improving business processes. The role involves project management, risk identification, and contributing to process improvements. The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with various teams. Candidates need a bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience in Finance or Accounting. They should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment and manage diverse projects and deliverables.

General Summary:

Exceptional opportunity to work on the Finance Integration Management Office and support mergers & acquisitions throughout the deal lifecycle.  This role will assist with the integration of acquired assets or companies across the globe and collaborates with team members of target companies, corporate development, legal and other cross-functional workstreams. Specifically, the responsibilities include:

  • Assist with the preparation of key deal analysis including net working capital and closing payment schedules.
  • Review projected financials, monitor liquidity of target companies for funding and support forecasting needs for the business unit finance teams.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and proactively improve business processes that impact business unit finance and finance integration overall. 
  • Support project management activities for various deals, including preparing project updates for finance workstreams and the integration management office.
  • Responsibilities will provide candidate the opportunity to work closely with the integration management office, corporate development, strategic finance, and business finance unit teams.  
  • Proactively identify integration risks and assist in the design and implementation of integration activities.
  • Contribute to the development of new concepts, techniques, and making continuous process improvements to the overall finance integration playbook and processes.
  • Extensive Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and various other applications used for projects and presentations.
  • Successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the flexibility to manage various projects and deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.

*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant or MBA
  • Finance, Accounting, or Reporting related work experience.
  • Experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
  • Experience working in a large matrixed organization.
  • Strong communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
  • Fast learner with strong interpersonal, organization, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Level of Responsibility:

•    Works independently with minimal supervision.

•    Provides supervision/guidance to other team members.

•    Decision-making may affect work beyond immediate work group.

•    Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information. May require negotiation, influence, tact, etc.

•    Develops and administers budgets, schedules, and performance standards for functional area within the prescribed budgetary objectives of the department.

•    Has a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to make key decisions).

•    Tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$88,000.00 - $132,000.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
