Job Description
This role requires a Senior Marketo and Marketing Cloud Specialist to independently manage and execute marketing automation campaigns. The specialist will develop and optimize campaigns, build customer journeys, and troubleshoot issues. They will also collaborate with marketing teams, manage data flows, and analyze campaign results. They will also share their expertise with team members. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with Marketo and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, managing automation campaigns, and strong technical skills like HTML, CSS, and APIs. Certifications like Marketo Certified Expert are preferred.
Must have:

- Familiarity with APIs, data integrations

Job Details
We are looking for a self-sufficient Senior Marketo and Marketing Cloud Specialist to independently manage and execute complex marketing automation campaigns. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional who has hands-on experience with a broad range of automation scenarios, doesn’t require close supervision, and can navigate platform features confidently. This role involves executing campaigns, optimizing processes, and providing expertise without being tied to architectural or leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently develop, implement, and optimize marketing automation campaigns within Marketo and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Build and manage complex customer journeys, lead nurturing workflows, and segmentation strategies with minimal input.
- Troubleshoot issues and make adjustments to campaigns in real-time, based on performance data.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to translate campaign strategies into technical automation solutions.
- Manage data flows, integrations, and platform configurations to ensure seamless operations.
- Analyze campaign results, identify areas for improvement, and execute optimizations.
- Share expertise with team members through documentation and best practice adherence.
- Stay updated on platform enhancements, industry trends, and new features to leverage the latest capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and email deliverability standards.
Qualifications:
- Extensive hands-on experience with Marketo and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Proven track record managing end-to-end automation campaigns without supervision.
- Deep understanding of email marketing, segmentation, and customer journey logic.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency with HTML, CSS, and scripting as needed.
- Familiarity with APIs, data integrations, and platform troubleshooting.
- Solid analytical skills for interpreting performance metrics and making data-driven decisions.
- Independent worker with excellent problem-solving ability.
- Effective communicator who can document processes and share knowledge swiftly.
Certifications:
- Marketo Certified Expert or higher-level certification
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certification preferred
