Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer on the GenAI Growth team at Scale AI, you will be responsible for building features from end-to-end, including front-end, back-end, system design, debugging, and testing. You will be expected to deliver experiments quickly and with high quality to engage customers. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will define, design, and ship new product features and experiences. The role involves working across the entire product lifecycle, influencing the engineering team's culture, values, and processes, and partnering with AI/ML teams to build LLM applications. The work contributes to the development of advanced LLMs and generative models through RLHF, human data generation, model evaluation, safety, and alignment. This position offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects that shape how humanity interacts with AI.

Must have:

About our Growth team

The Growth team focuses on building products for our best-in-class contributor platform. As a member of the Growth team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our contributor experience by streamlining platform onboarding, simplifying project assessments & selection, and experimenting with rewards and incentive programs.

You'll partner closely with AI/ML teams to build LLM applications that transform how we match contributors to projects and assess their skills.You'll have the opportunity to work closely with data science to optimize growth funnels and drive not only the growth of qualified contributors on our platform but also the future of the data labeling industry.

Responsibilities:

Own large areas within our product
Build features end-to-end: front-end, back-end, system design, debugging and testing
Deliver experiments at a high velocity and level of quality to engage our customers
Work across the entire product lifecycle from conceptualization through production
Influence the culture, values, and processes of a growing engineering team
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new product features and experiences.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of relevant experience is preferred
Track record of shipping high-quality products and features at scale
Desire to work in a very fast-paced environment
Ability to turn business and product ideas into engineering solutions
Excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently or as part of a team.
