Summary

The VP Pop! Yourself will be responsible for leading the Pop! Yourself brand, including creating the go to market strategy and marketing plans and developing the brand experience for both in-store and ecommerce fans and customers. Responsibilities include leading the POP! Yourself business strategy, preparing and delivering public messages across a range of information platforms, managing the P&L of Pop! Yourself, managing product and release calendars, collaborating cross-functionally with creative leadership, overseeing the brand experience, developing comprehensive marketing strategies, providing leadership and guidance to cross functional partners, leading strategy and execution for POP! Yourself licensing, partnerships, and collaborations, and delivering customer insights back to the business.
Must have:
  • 10-15 years of experience in marketing
  • Minimum 5 years managing teams
  • Experience working within and developing integrated marketing strategies for an omni-channel consumer brand
  • Ability to work across the art and science of marketing

Vinyl is the number one stylized vinyl collectible on the market, selling millions of figures to fans around the world.
The VP Pop! Yourself will be responsible for leading the Pop! Yourself brand, including creating the go to market strategy and marketing plans and developing the brand experience for both in-store and ecommerce fans and customers.
What You’ll Do
  • Lead and manage the POP! Yourself business strategy with the intention to drive revenue and consumer growth for the brand under the DTC umbrella
  • Prepare and deliver public messages across a range of information platforms, including social media, public relations, and marketing campaigns
  • Be accountable for and manage the P&L of Pop! Yourself
  • Manage product and release calendars that drives new customers into the brand and drives repeat purchases
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative leadership to develop meaningful product that resonates with fans and consumers
  • Oversee the brand experience that includes all consumer touchpoints (in-store, online, shipments, advertising etc.)
  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with Funko’s objectives, taking into consideration market trends and competitive landscape in the personalization and customization markets
  • Provide leadership, guidance and assistance to cross functional partners such us operations (3PL), digital, marketing, and product teams relating to the execution of POP! Yourself
  • Lead strategy and execution for POP! Yourself licensing, partnerships, and collaboration
  • Deliver customer insights back to the business

     
What You’ll Bring
  • 10-15 years of experience in marketing and a minimum of 5 years managing teams 
  • Experienced leader with ability to set the vision, create and develop processes to enable the work, and coach/develop team members to achieve their highest potential
  • Natural collaborator with team-first mentality; can lead both through influence and authority
  • Experience working within and developing integrated marketing strategies for an omni-channel consumer brand
  • Ability to work across the art and science of marketing; knows how to interpret data, extract insights, and leverage them to tell creative and innovative stories
  • Demonstrated ability to think from a consumer lens; always puts the fan at the forefront of strategies, programs and initiatives
 
Salary Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $200,000 - $240,000 annually. ​Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units.
