Job Description

The Account Strategist at Google Customer Solutions (SBS Engage) will work with businesses to develop and implement Google Ads strategies. Responsibilities include delivering against quarterly growth goals, building client relationships through consultations and pitches, owning a portfolio of small businesses, identifying growth opportunities, managing risks, and achieving customer business and marketing objectives. Fluency in English and Arabic is required to support client relationships in the MENA region. The ideal candidate possesses experience in digital advertising campaigns, performance marketing, and client relationship management. Strong communication, analytical, and storytelling skills are essential. The role involves setting the vision and strategy for client advertising to reach a vast user base.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in advertising sales/strategy
  • Fluent in English and Arabic
  • Deliver against ambitious growth goals
  • Manage client portfolio and identify growth opportunities
Good to have:
  • Experience managing digital advertising campaigns
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics
  • Experience in the MENA region
  • Strong storytelling and narrative building skills

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising sales and strategy, marketing, consulting, or media.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Arabic fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing and knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Experience in assessing and achieving client success via business techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and promoting.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and consistently achieve goals to drive growth.
  • Ability to build narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business and product growth goals.
  • Establish relationships via phone calls or e-mail marketing and conduct regular phone consultations and business pitches with clients to advise them on how to get the best return on their Google Ads investment.
  • Own a portfolio of small businesses by understanding growth drivers identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building quarterly plans for achievement.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
