As an Area Sales Manager-Deputy Manager at Paytm's Oil & Gas vertical, you'll be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve company goals within the petrol and gas station market. This role involves managing sales teams, defining sales processes, conducting sales training, and managing customer expectations. Key responsibilities include educating merchants about EDC (Swipe machine) benefits, converting them, managing their accounts, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. You'll need strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills to succeed. The role requires aggressive sales strategy execution and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Must have:
  • 8+ years distribution sales experience in Oil & Gas, Fintech, or Banking

About the Team:

Oil & Gas - The Oil and gas vertical includes payment of electricity, oil/petrol and gas bills. Predominantly dealing with Petrol and gas stations and other retail business ,handling end to end sales and Operations.
 
About the Role:
 
 1.8+ yrs of experience of Distribution sales in EDC, fintech, Banking / insurance Sales.
2. Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company's sales goals.
3. Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement.
4. Manage the sales teams, operations and resources to deliver growth.
5. Define optimal sales force structure.
6. Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives.
7. Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.
8. Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements.
9.Going to the Merchant and educating him/her about the benefits of the Swipe machine (EDC) converting them and managing their accounts.
10.Exceptional communication, presentation skills and relationship building skills.
11. Ability to aggressively manage the successful execution of a sales strategy.
12. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
 
 
Requirement/Expectation:

1. Graduation is a must.
