You will work with the Data Architect in the Data and Analytics organization. You will have experience developing and establishing scalable, efficient, automated processes for large-scale data analyses and have an excellent ability dealing with huge volumes of data. You will report into the Manager of BI. At EA we support we support hybrid and remote work.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will develop automated reporting to promote data-driven decisions across the team and with partner teams.

  • You will be involved in the entire development life cycle from brainstorming ideas to implementing elegant solutions to find data insights.

  • You will gather requirements, model and design solutions to support decision-making and data maturity throughout the studio.

  • You will conduct audits of existing dashboard to improve performance across all EAX dashboards

  • You will work with analysts, product managers, and designers to understand requirements, and help develop interactive Looker dashboards and backend dashboard improvements to ensure performance meets EAX team needs.

  • You will support the process of adoption of new technologies and applications we use to integrate analytical solutions.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience in BI engineering/report development

  • Proficiency in writing advanced, performant SQL queries.

  • Well versed in Looker report optimization, including tuning and building out PDT's.

  • Experience in design principles and able to give design opinions and recommendations.

  • Experience using alternative or custom data sources within Looker (ex. REST APIs).

  • Experience in any cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Beneficial to Have

  • Knowledge and passion for video games.

  • 2+ years working experience with Python

Ceci ne s’applique pas au Québec. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)

    • $89,300 - $123,000 CAD

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
