The Account Manager is responsible for managing accounts in defined sales territories using consultative selling to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, addressing customer business challenges, and exceeding sales quotas. This role involves building client relationships, working with partner sales personnel, delivering sales presentations, creating territory plans, and facilitating account reporting. The position requires maintaining knowledge of industry trends and technical developments to support go-to-market strategies and driving adoption of Barracuda solutions. The selected candidate will reside in Texas or South Florida and be bilingual in Spanish.
Must have:
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, customer acquisition, or related fields
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a related field

Envision Yourself at Barracuda
The  Account Manager is responsible for managing accounts across defined sales territories. They leverage consultative selling approaches to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, facilitate communication on customer’s business problems, and meet/exceed sales quotas. They also use a consultative approach to educate customers and assist in sales process improvements. The selected candidate will need to reside in Texas or South Florida and be bilingual in Spanish.
 
What you’ll be working on
  • Builds relationships with clients across defined sales territories, and meets/exceeds assigned sales quotas 
  • Leverages consultative selling approaches to identify business challenges and create solutions for prospects and customers 
  • Works with partner sales personnel to extend reach and drive adoption of the Barracuda products and solutions 
  • Delivers effective sales demonstration and presentations, covering the Barracuda Networks portfolio effectively 
  • Supports in creating clear goals and complete accurate forecasting through developing a detailed territory plans 
  • Facilitates complex accounts and transaction reporting to the account managers and leadership team 
  • Maintains continuity and up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technical developments, and governmental regulations that affect target markets 
  • Meets sales objectives and supports in development of go to market strategy for partnership 
  • Utilizes a consultative selling approach to educate channel partners and end-users and provide timely follow-up, closure and tracking of all identified opportunities 
  • Leverages specialized sales knowledge in breadth and depth to a variety of issues/projects within the team 
  • Works in a project-oriented manner contributing towards team-level goals 
  • Works closely with account management teams to identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions 
  • Travel within territory 1-2 times per quarter for Partner and Customer events
 
Required Qualifications
 
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, customer acquisition, or related fields
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a related field
