Job Description

The Channel Marketing Manager will be responsible for nurturing relationships with business partners, implementing business development strategies, crafting sales proposals, and analyzing market trends. They will coordinate with other departments, define channel marketing strategies, collaborate with partners' trade marketing teams, manage the creation of marketing assets, monitor trade marketing execution, and oversee promotional campaigns. This role requires strong communication skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Must have:
  • Passion for PC and/or console gaming and regularly play.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the gaming industry.
  • Excellent communication and social skills to manage expectations.
  • Ability to build and maintain a network of contacts.
Good to have:
  • Expertise in Jira would be advantageous.

Job Description

Your daily tasks:

  • Nurturing relationships with business partners, including 1st-party partners, distributors and game developers.
  • Implementing and driving the business development strategy for new and existing products.
  • Crafting and executing sales proposals to distributors, and presenting reports to key internal stakeholders.
  • Analyzing market trends and industry key player activities, leveraging your extensive knowledge of the video gaming industry to forecast trends and helping guide marketing strategies.
  • Coordinating with other departments, such as finance and production, to ensure contract terms are fulfilled.
  • Co-defining channel marketing strategy for various campaigns
  • Collaborating with key partners’ trade marketing teams, providing them with necessary assets and comprehensive product information.
  • Active engagement in managing the creation of marketing assets by our internal creative marketing team and ensuring all materials align with our brand and target audience, as well as our business partners' guidelines
  • Strategically monitoring trade marketing execution in both digital and physical retail platforms and suggesting improvements as needed.
  • Overseeing promotional campaigns execution and providing detailed reports on their results to upper management.

Qualifications

  • Passion for PC and/or console gaming and regularly play.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including fluency in gaming industry jargon and business terminology.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the gaming industry, particularly in roles related to product, sales, or marketing. If you do not have professional experience in gaming, having a hobby-level familiarity with the video game industry is required.
  • Excellent communication and social skills to effectively manage expectations from partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to build and maintain a network of contacts within the gaming industry.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Sense of ownership towards the project.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to effectively close deals.
  • Ability of effectively work under tight deadlines. 
  • Ability to quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment, and readiness to make quick decisions.
  • Expertise in Jira would be advantageous.
