Onward Search is seeking a CRM Marketing Automation Specialist for a 6-12 month contract with a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical client in Mettawa, IL. This hybrid role (3 days onsite) involves overseeing the end-to-end process of building, executing, and quality-assuring targeted audiences within CRM. Responsibilities include campaign execution and quality assurance, collaboration with cross-functional teams, audience management, performance monitoring, and project management. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Cloud (AEP, Adobe Analytics, AJO, and CJA), excellent collaboration skills, and a results-driven approach. The role requires troubleshooting, developing creative solutions, and managing multiple priorities.

Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We are currently seeking a CRM Marketing Automation Specialist to join the marketing team of a Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical client. This is a 6-12 month contract opportunity based in Mettawa, IL, with a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite per week).

As the CRM Marketing Automation Specialist, you will be instrumental in overseeing the end-to-end process of building, executing, and quality-assuring targeted audiences within CRM. This is a dynamic role that offers the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive campaign success, and help optimize CRM operations for one of the nation's leading pharmaceutical brands. If you have experience with Adobe Experience Cloud products and are passionate about delivering high-quality, impactful marketing initiatives, this could be the perfect fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Execution & Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality, timely, and error-free implementation of campaigns within the CRM platform. Develop and maintain standardized quality control processes and provide mentorship to junior team members.
  • Collaboration & Troubleshooting: Work closely with cross-functional teams and external agencies to resolve issues, recommend solutions, and drive new initiatives forward.
  • Audience Management: Oversee the lifecycle of audience updates, from scoping to execution, including documentation and resource allocation. Maintain a clear and organized segment taxonomy and track all CRM audience activities.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor campaign performance and provide proactive recommendations to optimize engagement and achieve business goals.
  • Project Management: Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, timelines, and status reports. Stay on top of ongoing work, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5-8 years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Cloud, specifically AEP, Adobe Analytics, AJO, and CJA, with a proven track record of increasing responsibility in CRM and marketing automation.
  • Collaboration Skills: Excellent ability to work effectively in a matrixed organizational structure, with a strong collaborative approach and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Independent & Results-Driven: Ability to work independently, lead initiatives with minimal supervision, and manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot roadblocks and develop creative, compliant solutions that drive initiatives forward.
