As Deployment Manager, Field Operations, you will lead the execution of AeroVect’s most important customer deployment. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, aligning internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring that everything runs to plan—on the ground and across functions. You’ll own the operational rhythm, enforce accountability, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. This is a highly visible leadership role requiring field awareness, cross-functional coordination, and confident stakeholder engagement. You will represent AeroVect on-site, translating between engineering realities and operational execution—while keeping AeroVect’s leadership and the customer informed, aligned, and moving forward

You Will

  • Own and drive all aspects of field deployment operations, from planning through daily execution and long-term scale-up.

  • Lead cross-functional coordination across engineering, product, hardware, and safety to ensure readiness and executional alignment.

  • Serve as the primary onsite leader, maintaining structured and proactive communication with AeroVect leadership and customer stakeholders.

  • Identify risks early and escalate decisively, removing blockers and driving forward momentum under pressure.

  • Enforce operational rigor and responsiveness, establishing a culture of accountability, urgency, and continuous improvement.

  • Manage and develop a team of Autonomous GSE Operators, setting high standards for safety and execution.

  • Oversee regulatory and site access requirements, including permits, clearances, and adherence to airport or facility protocols.

  • Monitor deployment KPIs and deliver structured progress updates and insights to AeroVect leadership.

You Have

  • Experience leading field operations and managing teams in safety-critical, regulated, or fast-paced environments (e.g., aviation, logistics, robotics, military).

  • A proven ability to coordinate across teams and functions, ensuring executional alignment and accountability without formal authority.

  • Strong operational instincts, high situational awareness, and comfort navigating ambiguity.

  • Confident verbal and written communication, especially with executive and customer stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive clarity, enforce follow-through, and maintain high standards under pressure.

  • High attention to detail, urgency, and ownership mindset.

  • Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check for access to secure areas.

We Prefer

  • Experience deploying robotics, autonomous systems, or complex industrial technology in live operating environments.

  • Familiarity with airport operations, ground handling, or transportation logistics.

  • Operational experience in highly regulated or safety-sensitive settings.

  • Comfort with basic data analysis, KPI tracking, and reporting tools.
