Job Description

Marks is a brand design and experience agency seeking a Design Project Manager. Responsibilities include attending client meetings, consolidating briefs, ensuring precise communication to the creative team to minimize rework, and working closely with designers to meet client expectations and budget. The role involves managing project timelines for on-time delivery, arranging internal briefings and debriefs, overseeing creative reviews, and addressing lead time concerns to meet client requirements. The Design PM will also be responsible for booking design jobs, preparing job briefs, estimations, quotations, status reports, and managing invoice requirements. Additionally, supporting new business pitches or organic growth is part of the role. The ideal candidate will consolidate briefs, manage project timelines, and ensure on-time delivery.
Must have:

  • Book design jobs in system
  • Prepare job brief, estimation & quotations
  • Support new business pitch
  • 5 years plus experience in agency account management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage time
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge in In-Store Marketing implementation
  • Knowledge in Point of Sale
Good to have:
  • Basic Photoshop skills
  • Basic Illustrator skills

Responsibilities:

•        Attend client meetings for briefing or project management

•        The Design PM should effectively consolidate brief from client or from the Account Managers.

•        Ensure briefing is precisely received by creative team to minimize rework and work closely with internal designer/ artist to ensure delivery of design/ meeting client’s expectations and budget.

•        Manage Project Timeline, ensure on-time delivery.

•        Arrange internal briefing/debriefs, creative review and closely follow-up on creative deliverables.

•        Address lead time concern with creative team to meet client’s CPS.

•        Book design jobs in system, prepare job brief, estimation & quotations, status reports, job closure, invoice requirements.

•        To support new business pitch or organic growth

Required Skills:

  • Collage above holder in graphic design or marketing.
  • 5 years plus experience in agency account management, or creative service & process management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio) or other process management tools.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload and exercise time management skills
  • Self-motivated, mature, and able to handle projects independently
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Strong under pressure
  • Team player
  • Ownership and readiness of working overtime when required
  • Knowledge in In-Store Marketing implementation, Point of Sale Essential
  • Basic Photoshop and Illustrator skills or knowledge would be an advantage
