Job Summary

Job Description

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes, methods, and production line layouts for parts and assemblies. This role involves optimizing time standards, capacity plans, and equipment utilization. You will also collaborate with design engineering to enhance product designs for manufacturing, contributing to next-generation experiences and digital transformation.
Must have:
  • Lead team, maintain daily equipment management, ensure stable equipment.
  • Introduce new technologies, upgrade equipment, and improve processes.
  • Lead technicians, arrange shift tasks, summarize and resolve issues.
  • Organize activities to enhance technician repair skills and work status.
  • Plan OEE, MTBA, MTBF projects to improve equipment utilization and efficiency.
  • Plan preventive maintenance and tool calibration, create schedules and guidelines.
  • Maintain, modify, and improve production equipment for utilization, efficiency, and productivity.
Good to have:
  • Hands-on maintenance experience with laser, cutting, sputtering equipment, team management experience preferred.

General Summary:

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will develop, implement, and improve processes, methods, time standards, capacity plans, operation sequences, equipment, tools, materials, data analyses, spec setup, and production line layouts in the manufacturing of parts and assemblies. Manufacturing Engineers may collaborate with design engineering and other teams to improve product designs for manufacturing.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or related field and 4+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or related field and 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or related field and 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or related work experience.

I. Job Description

Job Objective:

Responsible for equipment management and stable operation of the module packaging backend process. Responsible for the daily management and work arrangements of on-site technicians. Responsible for promoting projects for potential efficiency improvement and cost savings in the process.

Job Content:

Lead the team, maintain daily management of equipment, and ensure equipment is in a stable state. New technology introduction, equipment upgrade, improvement and other activities. Lead the team of technicians, reasonably arrange work tasks for each shift, summarize and solve abnormal problems.

Arrange activities to improve technicians' maintenance capabilities; improve technicians' work status.

Plan OEE, MTBA, MTBF and other project activities to improve equipment utilization and efficiency through equipment capability improvement. Plan preventive maintenance and tool calibration for equipment, formulate schedules and corresponding guidance. Maintain, modify and improve production equipment and tools to improve equipment utilization, efficiency and productivity. Hands-on maintenance experience with laser, cutting, sputtering equipment, team management experience preferred.

II. Qualifications

1. Professional Knowledge:

Familiar with quality control tools, proficient in English and Office software operation.

Possess professional knowledge in equipment operation, principles, etc., and independently complete various tasks.

Good reporting and presentation skills.

2. Work Experience:

Over 10 years of equipment control experience in electronics or related enterprises.

3. Education Background:

Bachelor's degree or above in engineering.

4. Personal Skills and Qualities:

Good organizational skills, strong logical thinking ability, willing to work in a team.
