This is a hybrid position requiring at least three days a week in the Berlin office.

Role Overview

We’re looking for an HR Operations Specialist to join our team in Berlin. You’ll play a key role in supporting our people and operations across Germany, making sure every employee receives a seamless and high-quality experience throughout their time with us.

This is a newly created role following Tripledot’s intended acquisition of 10 game studios, including one based in Germany. As part of the Group HR Operations team, you’ll work closely with the Regional HR Operations Manager for Europe and the wider HR function, contributing to the smooth running of everything from onboarding and payroll to learning and compliance.

This role would suit someone detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative, with solid local HR experience and a passion for people. The position is hybrid, with at least 3 days per week in our Berlin office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer paperwork and support the employee lifecycle for Germany
  • Handle HR operations tasks including employee record maintenance and changes
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, and new hire orientation
  • Respond to employee queries on HR policies, procedures, and benefits
  • Coordinate local payroll with third-party provider
  • Manage benefits administration, including renewals and employee support
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met in collaboration with the office team
  • Maintain accurate employee data in HiBob (HRIS)
  • Provide German HR expertise to international HRBPs
  • Monitor legal updates to ensure local compliance
  • Support audits and maintain documentation
  • Manage CPD fund requests and tracking
  • Coordinate employee training programmes and feedback
  • Track training completion and support users with LXP issues
  • Assist with employee engagement and DE&I initiatives
  • Provide support for broader HR projects and ways of working


Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Strong HR operations experience in Germany
  • Good knowledge of German labour law
  • Fluent German and professional-level English
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills
  • Experience using HRIS (preferably HiBob)
  • Proactive approach with strong communication skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to handle sensitive information with discretion
