Job Description

Mattel Iberia seeks a passionate intern for its Barcelona office. The intern will support the Regional Marketing Digital Team in executing the eRetail channel strategy across EMEA. Responsibilities include tracking e-commerce content availability, closing content gaps in Mattel Systems and retailer websites, managing visual content localization, ensuring rich page content availability, live checking product detail pages for quality, and acting as backfill for Amazon processes (BTR order management, SIOC certification, etc.). The ideal candidate will have a marketing background, fluency in English (Spanish a plus), experience with PIM and DAM tools, strong Excel skills, and a keen eye for detail. This is a challenging opportunity to gain valuable experience in a multinational environment and accelerate career growth.

Mattel Iberia is currently seeking for a passionate intern for our office in Barcelona, who is eager to learn and develop himself or herself in a multinational and challenging environment.

What Your Impact Will Be: 

You will support the Regional Marketing Digital Team to ensure the execution of the eRetail channel strategy across EMEA by local markets.

Some of your main responsibilities will be:

  • Tracking the availability of the eCommerce content delivered by our US teams (product descriptions, images, demos).
  • Closing content gaps in an autonomous way, both in Mattel Systems and also in retailer website.
  • Managing the localization of visual content: feature call-out images, product demos.
  • Managing the rich pages execution: ensure content is available and collaborate with eMerch agency the set up.
  • Live checking product detail page to secure quality.
  • Act as backfill for Amazon processes such as BTR order management, SIOC certification, Variation execution, etc.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, in Marketing, Digital Marketing or related fields.
  • Previous experience in Marketing or with Market Places would be valuable.
  • Fluent in English (it is the main language you will use in your day to day); Spanish is a plus. 
  • Previous experience with PIM and DAM tools (such as Salsify , Syndigo or Tenovos) & Digital Shelf auditing tools such as Profitero, EstoreCheck would be valuable.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & PowerPoint).
  • Analysis skills.
