Job Description
SAFE Security is seeking a Principal Product Manager to build a world-class scalable SaaS-based product in Cyber Risk Quantification. The role involves understanding user needs and market trends to define product roadmaps, ideating new features to enhance product performance and usability, and identifying business opportunities. The Product Manager will collaborate with design and engineering teams to establish timelines and requirements, own the entire product lifecycle, and ensure scalability and reliability of the architecture. Key responsibilities include translating customer requirements into actionable development needs, prioritizing features, articulating product vision and roadmap, and strategically evolving the product for a better user experience.
Must have:

- Experience building and launching tech products
- Proficient in writing requirements documents
- Experience working with engineering using Agile/SCRUM
- Good understanding of user experience and UI design
- Customer focused with understanding of user lifecycle

Core Responsibilities
- Build a world-class scalable SaaS-based product in the area of Cyber Risk Quantification to help organizations protect themselves better from potential breaches
- Understand and analyze user needs and market trends in cyber security - leverage them to define a roadmap for existing and new products
- Ideate new and enhanced features on the platform to improve overall product performance and usability.
- Identify business opportunities, build business cases, Interact at all levels of the organization to drive executive buy-in and execution
- Collaborate with the Product Design team, Scrum teams, and other stakeholders to establish timelines, workflows, benchmarks, goals, and detailed requirements
- Own and manage the entire product life cycle, from strategic planning to tactical decision-making.
- Built a Multi-Tenant and Cloud native architecture that can scale
- Identify the right non functional requirements of the product and evangelize the same across the development community.
- Identify and translate customer requirements into actionable design ideas and development needs for the engineering team to implement and enhance the platform.
- Ideate new and enhanced features on the platform to improve overall product performance and usability.
- Identify business opportunities, build business cases, Interact at all levels of the organization to drive executive buy-in and execution
- Collaborate with the Product Design team, Scrum teams, and other stakeholders to establish timelines, workflows, benchmarks, goals, and detailed requirements
- Own and manage the entire product life cycle, from strategic planning to tactical decision-making.
- Prioritize features and tasks for the product using internal tools, tracking and reviewing the product direction and current work frequently
- Articulate and evangelize product vision and roadmap across internal teams (design, engineering, business development) and external stakeholders (end users, customers) to enable collaboration and drive adoption
- Define and communicate your product’s vision, execution, and goals, and own the results
- Identify immediate and/or upcoming user and internal stakeholder needs, then work with the team to develop a product plan that addresses them
- Strategically evolve and grow the existing product to constantly deliver a better user experience
Essential Skills/ Qualification/ Experience
- Masters or Bachelors in Computer Science or Information Technology from a reputed institute.
- 5+ years of product management experience in tech product startups / digital products or e-commerce; overall experience of 10+ years
- Strong understanding of the technical communication system, especially that of a distributed architecture.
- Strong in observability, monitoring, performance, scalability, and resilience.
- Proven experience in building and launching tech products from the ground up
- Proficient at writing requirements documents and articulating how the requirements lead to product or feature development.
- Solid experience in working closely with the engineering team using Agile and SCRUM methodologies
- Good understanding of user experience with designing user interfaces via wireframe mockups
- Prior experience in a startup / fast-paced environment is a plus
- Customer focussed with a deep understanding of user life cycle and requirements
- A broad understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including knowledge of cybersecurity technology trends and industrial best practices, is a plus
