Job Description

This role involves assisting with daily operations, participating in team meetings, collaborating with team members, creating and processing documents, reviewing funding applications and proofs of use, and verifying invoices. The role is within a team responsible for ensuring the proper use of federal funding for fiber optic expansion. The work includes reviewing applications, financial plans, invoices, and proofs of use to ensure compliance with guidelines. The candidate will work within a federal ministry and contribute to the team's overall goals.
Must have:
  • Proficiency in German (at least B2, both written and spoken).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A careful, structured, and independent work style.
  • Flexibility and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Good time management and teamwork skills.
Good to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in economic sciences, finance, administration, or related fields, or similar experience.
  • Skills in data processing programs (e.g., Alteryx).

PwC is an authorized project sponsor for a federal subsidy program aimed at supporting the expansion of fiber optics in regions that would not be economically feasible without assistance. The client is a Federal Ministry. We are a team of over 100 colleagues responsible for the proper and guideline-compliant use of the funding. In this role, we are among other things responsible for reviewing the applications with their financial plans, invoices, and proofs of use. 

We are looking for:  

Public Administration Assistant with German | Managed Services Operations 

 

Your Future Role: 

  • Assist with daily operations. 

  • Participate in team meetings, sharing insights and updates on your tasks. 

  • Collaborate with team members across different departments to ensure alignment on deliverables. 

  • Create and process documents in strict compliance with all guidelines, following the four-eye principle. 

  • Review funding applications and proofs of use for completeness and compliance with guidelines. 

  • Verify invoices according to the information provided in the applications.
