Playtika is seeking a talented QA Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing game projects, focusing on functional, regression, and release testing activities. You will also participate in challenging technical projects, design and implement testing strategies, and define automation and non-functional testing approaches for mobile and web clients. Your expertise in testing web and mobile applications, client-server testing, and complex multi-component systems will be crucial. You will also be involved in defining and implementing testing strategies, collaborating with product owners to clarify requirements, and working with bug tracking systems. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative and engaging mobile games.
Must have:
  • 4+ years of testing experience
  • Web & mobile app testing experience
  • Client-server testing
  • Complex multi-component systems testing
  • Agile (Scrum, Kanban) experience
  • API testing tools (Fiddler, Charles, Postman, Swagger)
  • Documentation creation (checklists, test-cases)
  • SQL queries and related tools
  • CI/CD process knowledge
  • Bug tracking systems (Jira)
  • Intermediate English (written & spoken)

Responsibilities:

  • Testing game projects, focusing on functional, regression and release testing activities;
  • Participation in the most challenging technical projects affecting the whole game;
  • Design and implement testing strategy;
  • Define automation and non-functional testing approaches for mobile and web clients of the game;
  • Work closely with Product Owner to clarify requirements.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in testing;
  • Experience in testing and debugging web and mobile applications: difference between platforms/browsers, testing approaches and techniques etc.;
  • Experience with client-server testing;
  • Experience in testing complex multi-components systems;
  • Knowledge in Agile (Scrum, Kanban) process;
  • Experience with API testing tools, sniffer tools, browser dev tools (Fiddler, Charles, Postman, Swagger)
  • Experience in documentation creation (check lists, test-cases);
  • Experience in analysing data using SQL queries and related tools;
  • Experience in using CI/CD processes on project and basic workflow understanding;
  • Show creativity and initiative to improve product coverage and effectiveness;
  • Working with bug tracking systems (Jira, etc.);
  • Intermediate English Level (written and spoken).
