This role, Quality Specialist Greece & Med. Islands, supports Quality Operations to ensure mandated Quality Management System requirements are met. Responsibilities include managing quality complaints, verifying local operations comply with HALEON standards, GMP/GDPs, MDR, and regulatory requirements. The role also involves handling deviations, supporting batch release, managing repacking activities, coordinating recalls, performing self-inspections, reporting KPIs, and supporting quality agreements and third-party management.
Must have:
  • University diploma in a scientific discipline
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Pharmaceutical/Consumer Healthcare industries
  • Understanding of GMP/GDP and quality assurance systems
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (Veeva Vault, Trackwise Solutions)
  • Knowledge of ERP SAP (CERPS) system
  • Fluent English
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

Quality Specialist Greece & Med. Islands

About the role

The role of Quality Specialist exists in support of Quality Operations within the commercial CH LOC Greece and Med. Islands, to ensure that the mandated Quality Management System requirements are met.

Role Responsibilities

  • Back up of the LOC Quality Manager in routine operations, as appropriate.
  • Management of Quality Complaints including interface with consumers and customer to collect the necessary information for the management of the complaint, interface with manufacturing sites to request the investigation, and processing of the response to consumer and customers
  • Verify based on all forms of evaluation [e.g.: Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to address deviations, Risk Assessments, Change Controls, Quality Regulatory Intelligence, Quality notifications, Management Review, Periodic Product Reviews etc.] that local operations are in full compliance with HALEON standards, GMP/GDPs, MDR and Regulatory requirements for all the marketed products.
  • Handling of unexpected events, deviations, logistics deviations.
  • Support the batch release activities of the products.
  • Ensure repacking activities follows HALEON standards for timely QA approval before repacking and QA batch release before distribution.
  • Support with the coordination of any Recall & Incident management as per HALEON standards in place and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure with self-inspection, and other forms of evaluation that local operations are in full compliance with HALEON standards, GMP/GDPs, and MDR.
  • Reporting centrally approved KPIs. Ensure they are continuously embedded across the LOC organization.
  • Supports Quality Agreements management.
  • Supports with activities pertaining to Third Party management.
  • Quality Activities in CERPS (ERP SAP) system
  • Support with Training management maintenance and activities
     

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

  • Education - University diploma, at least four years of theoretical and practical study in one of the following scientific disciplines: pharmacy, medicine, veterinary medicine, chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry and technology, chemical engineering, biology.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience within the Pharmaceutical / Consumer Healthcare Industries, preferably in the capacity of a Quality or Regulatory role
  • Understanding the regulatory requirements for GMP/GDP and quality assurance systems in pharmaceutical companies, especially in the areas of distribution, batch release, product incidents, artwork control, and audits.
  • Knowledge of effective quality management and documentation systems (Veeva Vault, Trackwise Solutions)
  • Knowledge of ERP SAP (CERPS) system
  • Fluent English
  • Strong general computer literacy with Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office

  • Works with a spirit of continuous improvement and innovation, creatively open to new ideas and methods

  • Flexible thinking – able to challenge and see views from different perspectives.
  • Eligibility in undertaking the role of QP according to the European legislation (European Directive 2001/83/EC).
