Job Description

Google is seeking a Senior Account Strategist to join their Mid-Market Sales team in the Netherlands. This role requires fluency in English and Dutch and a minimum of 5 years' experience in advertising, sales, business development, or marketing. Responsibilities include delivering against ambitious growth targets, owning a portfolio of medium-sized businesses, pitching and consulting with customers, driving customer growth, and leading stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will have experience managing digital advertising campaigns, possess strong analytical and communication skills, and be adept at building relationships and achieving client success. The position focuses on helping businesses grow by leveraging Google's advertising solutions and requires strategic thinking, strong presentation skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
Must have:
  • 5+ years experience in relevant field

  • Proven ability to achieve sales goals
Good to have:
  • Experience with performance marketing
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics
  • Experience in Netherlands market

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing roles.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Dutch fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and promoting.
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in Netherlands, and consistently achieve goals to drive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business and product growth targets.
  • Own a portfolio of medium and size businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Pitch and consult with customers to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Lead stakeholder management, and build relationships with the end customer or agencies.
