Team, about the role
The Finance team is one of the most important divisions of our company, with Accounting at its core. Every team member makes a significant contribution to ensuring transparency in accounting processes, enabling real-time business decision-making. This is especially crucial for a dynamic IT company. We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team and manage accounting operations in Cyprus. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with highly qualified professionals and gain deep expertise in complex accounting matters.
Tasks

Performing treasury functions (opening accounts, processing payments);

Processing payment invoices in 1C;

Organization and management of document flow;

Maintaining accounting records in the 1C corporate program;

Payroll processing for up to 100 employees;

Preparation of essential payroll documents, including social and PAYE forms. Calculation of benefits in kind, registration of employees with social and tax services, assistance to employees when registering for GESY;

Interaction with regulatory authorities;

Development, organization and maintenance of accounting and tax records of the company in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Cyprus for 4 legal entities of the company in Cyprus;

Participation in compliance procedures within the group.
Requirements
-
At least 3 years of experience as a Chief Accountant/ Deputy Chief Accountant in Cyprus;

Fluency in Russian and English (Upper-Intermediate +). Knowledge of Greek will be an advantage;

Knowledge of accounting of the Republic of Cyprus and IFRS, including the organization and management of accounting activities and reporting;

Knowledge of the tax legislation of the Republic of Cyprus;

Knowledge of civil and commercial law of the Republic of Cyprus at a basic level;

Knowledge of labor law of the Republic of Cyprus at a basic level;

International certificates (ACCA, ACA, CPA) will be an advantage;

Knowledge of the 1C accounting system.
