Must have:
  • Develop capabilities using SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Celonis.
  • Build new visualizations for data-driven decisions.
  • Document requirements and translate to technical specs.
  • Apply and promote coding standards and best practices.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing (local, end-to-end, integration).
  • Create technical documentation and maintain records.
  • Present functional demos to business and tech stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and debug data platform issues.
  • Participate in business functionality design and enhancements.
  • Lead master data category identification and federation.
  • Perform metadata collection and map data lineage.
  • Support data quality initiatives and stewardship programs.
  • Collaborate with data stewards to curate data sets.
  • Conduct data mining and analysis for inefficiencies.
  • Map dataflows and business process flows.
  • Train business partners on data cataloging and workflows.
  • Lead major project initiatives and facilitate meetings.
  • Mentor junior data analysts and conduct code reviews.
  • Define and implement coding standards and data SLAs/SLOs.
  • Perform root cause analysis for critical support.
  • Stay current on emerging data tools and best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with ETL processes and data modeling.
  • Skilled in data visualization (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Aptitude for exploratory data analysis and statistics.
  • Knowledge of master data management and cataloging.
  • Ability to document and analyze process flows.
  • Familiarity with process/data mining tools like Celonis.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Analyst to support data-driven initiatives across technology platforms. This role is responsible for determining and documenting data usage, identifying data gaps, creating master data categories, and enabling analytics through data and process mining. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data visualization, coding, and cross-functional collaboration.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and support capabilities across various platforms using tools and languages such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Celonis.
  • Build new visualizations and functionality to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Document requirements through business partner conversations and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Apply and promote coding standards and best practices in development efforts.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing, including local, end-to-end, and integration test cases.
  • Create technical documentation for developed solutions and maintain records in enterprise repositories.
  • Present functional demos to business and technology stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across data platforms and infrastructure.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of business functionality and platform enhancements.
  • Lead the identification and federation of master data categories and create golden records.
  • Perform metadata collection and map data lineage from source to target.
  • Support data quality initiatives through stewardship programs.
  • Collaborate with business and technical data stewards to curate data sets.
  • Conduct data mining and analysis to identify process inefficiencies and data gaps.
  • Map dataflows and business process flows for better traceability and optimization.
  • Train business partners on data cataloging, workflows, and application usage.
  • Lead major project initiatives and facilitate cross-functional meetings.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Master data management and data cataloging
  • Process flow documentation and analysis
