Job Description

The Employee Relations Partner ensures Unity remains a safe, positive, and great place to work by conducting investigations into Code of Conduct violations and managing various ER programs like Harassment Prevention training. This role involves data reporting to the Executive team and proactively identifying trends. The ER team supports Unity globally, offering opportunities to interact with employees across the organization, driving consistent ER processes, minimizing risk, and promoting the Employee Relations function.
Must have:
  • Manage sensitive investigations end-to-end; recommend appropriate resolution, complete case documentation and communications
  • Coach and influence HR stakeholders on interventions required for individuals, managers, and/or teams to prevent employee relations risks
  • Maintain the highest level of integrity and confidentiality, with a proven ability to gain trust from all levels of the organization
  • Manage ER’s training portfolio of anti-harassment and Managing within the Law training
  • Accurate data reporting and dashboard creation for Unity’s C-Suite on Employee Relations trends and cases
  • Continuing to build and develop the ER team brand and identity across Unity
Good to have:

The opportunity

The Employee Relations Partner ensures that Unity remains a safe, positive, and great place to work by conducting investigations into reports of Code of Conduct violations, alongside managing a variety of ER programs such as Harassment Prevention training, data reporting to our Executive team, and proactively identifying trends or business areas that need intervention.

The ER team supports Unity globally, and therefore gives you the opportunity to meet employees across the whole organization. You will work cross functionally to drive and scale consistent ER processes across the organization while minimizing risk and promoting the Employee Relations function.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage sensitive investigations end-to-end; recommend appropriate resolution, complete case documentation and communications
  • Coach and influence HR stakeholders on interventions required for individuals, managers, and/or teams in order to prevent employee relations risks
  • Maintain the highest level of integrity and confidentiality, with a proven ability to gain trust from all levels of the organization
  • Manage ER’s training portfolio of anti-harassment and Managing within the Law training by partnering closely with our vendor, facilitating sessions and tracking employee attendance
  • Accurate data reporting and dashboard creation for Unity’s C-Suite on Employee Relations trends and cases on a quarterly basis, plus the annual HCC Board statistics
  • Continuing to build and develop the ER team brand and identity across Unity, encouraging strong stakeholder engagement and becoming a ‘go-to’ for ER issues

  • Excitement to continue to develop Employee Relations COE and building the brand of Employee Relations within Unity
  • Strong knowledge of US & Canada employment laws and regulations and the ability to appropriately spot employment risks and issues
