Job Description

Marvell is seeking a Senior Engineer - Firmware Engineer for the Teralynx series of switching products, crucial for Marvell’s cloud and AI market. This role involves contributing to all phases of software development, from architecture and design to implementation and testing, within a fast-paced R&D team. The ideal candidate will have 0-2 years of experience, strong proficiency in C and Python, and a fundamental understanding of firmware and software architecture, working across a highly distributed engineering team.
Must have:
  • Be a part of a fast-paced project team of R&D engineers involved in the development of cloud Datacenter products of Marvell packet processors family.
  • Contribute to all phases of software development from requirement gathering through architect/design, implementation, UT/Functional testing and maintaining multiple software components.
  • Contribute to the development of aggressive project goals and schedules.
  • Demonstrate technical excellence and execute projects across a highly distributed engineering team.
  • Work with various cross-functional groups such as Architect, other development teams, QA/Validation, System Test, Product Management, Product Documentation, Customer teams.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering or electrical engineering.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong proficiency in C and Python and a fundamental understanding of firmware and software architecture.

The Teralynx series of switching products are key to Marvell’s cloud and AI market. IFCS SDK provides an interface for customer for Teralynx products. It is one of the critical components of the Teralynx products. With growing number of roadmap products and customers, we are looking for talented and motivated engineers for SDK development team.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for technology passionate engineers with focus on execution and quality to help innovate and develop highly scalable and distributed embedded network software.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering or electrical engineering; other majors may be considered if your background demonstrates strong knowledge in the area
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong proficiency in C and Python and a fundamental understanding of firmware and software architecture
  • Willingness to learn and work effectively in a collaborative team environment
