The Senior Manager, Digital Operations manages the day-to-day operations of the Digital Operations team at Bandai Namco. Responsibilities include 1st-Party Partner (1P) product page setup, Code to Content submissions, digital token acquisition, and metadata creation. This role requires managing collaboration with various teams (Digital Marketing, LCM, overseas teams, and 1P partners), overseeing workback schedules, and acting as a subject matter expert on store processes and tools. The Senior Manager will also optimize processes, improve product store pages, manage SKU and product setup, handle digital token management, and coordinate the Code to Content program. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of video game industry experience, a proven track record of team management, and a strong understanding of the 1P digital storefront ecosystem.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr. Manager, Digital Operations works within the Digital team at Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. They will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations within the Digital Operations team and ensure proper execution of 1st-Party Partner (1P) product page setup, Code to Content submissions, digital token acquisition, and metadata creation and preparation. They will have an in-depth understanding of Digital Operations and will manage collaboration amongst team members, Digital Marketing and LCM teams, overseas metadata and storefront team members, and 1P partners. This position will report to the Director, Digital Operations and Release Management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the ongoing learning and development of the Digital Operations team to meet and/or exceed deliverables
  • Manage relationships with local teams and overseas counterparts, including metadata and storefront team members, LCM, Release Management, and Finance to align on processes, shared templates, short-term objectives, and day-to-day tasks
  • Manage communication and relationships with 1P to ensure the publication of digital products and content of catalog store pages are accurate and timely.
  • Partner with internal teams and overseas counterparts to align on delivery schedules and create deliverables of 1P storefront pages
  • Oversee the team's creation and maintenance of workback schedules for all titles
  • Be the subject matter expert and have an in-depth understanding of store processes and tools, and support the wider Digital Business and Publishing teams across operations and planning
  • Oversee SKU and product setup on the 1P back-end, handle digital token management and coordination for activation, and manage daily data transfer to Oracle.
  • Sole coordinator of Code to Content program’s assets and publications of products on 1P platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize digital operation processes and procedures, and support product store page improvements to help achieve company objectives

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years video game industry experience in an operations, project management, or marketing support role
  • 2+ years proven track record of managing a team
  • Proven understanding of the 1P digital storefront ecosystem
  • Computer proficiency, i.e. Outlook, Office, etc. required and knowledge of Photoshop preferred
  • An emphasis will be placed on strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and motivate others and pivot as the needs of the business evolve
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in a team environment and cross-departmentally
  • A team-oriented mindset, strong organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion and knowledge of video games a must
  • This position is expected to travel 0-25%

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, e.g. Business Administration, Marketing, or Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

SALARY RANGE

$97,508.54 - $160,000

Actual base salary will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, but not limited to, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees and it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
