In this role, you will shape the future of Toast’s continued expansion into Strategic Cuisines through ownership of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap. This role will lead initiatives that touch every layer of the product stack, from the front-of-house order workflows in POS and Kiosks to the back-end logic that powers integrated payments and reporting. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to craft a platform experience that is differentiated. The ideal candidate is obsessed with customers and how they work. You are grounded in user feedback, cross-functional partnership, and can translate customer and user needs and product vision into world-class experiences that work at scale. About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

• Own and drive the roadmap for the Strategic Cuisines in alignment with business OKRs, customer needs, and technical feasibility
• Research and get to know customers (internal and external) and competitors directly to identify differentiation opportunities for various cuisine types 
• Drive feature development from ideation through launch by writing clear specs, collaborating with engineering and design, and measuring success
• Help define and implement go to market strategy for new functionality, including designing tests, incremental launch milestones, and collecting customer feedback 
• Partner closely with Toast’s multilingual experience team to ensure the customer journey is fully localized in our Strategic Cuisines customers’ preferred languages
• Champion customer needs internally by building strong relationships horizontally and vertically within Toast

Do you have the right ingredients* (Requirements)

• 5+ years of PM experience working on highly visible initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ship great products.
• Strong track record of delivering user-facing features in fast-paced environments with cross-functional constraints, not just technical constraints, and working collaboratively and effectively with cross functional teams  
• Empathy for restaurants and a passion for improving their day-to-day
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence without authority
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to create a compelling product vision

Special Sauce* (Nice to Haves)

• Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in Spanish or Mandarin Chinese.
• Experience working in a startup environment.
• Prior experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
