Job Description
As a Senior SDET, you will be the gatekeeper for product and platform quality, developing system test strategies, test plans, and execution strategies. You will develop and maintain test automation tools and automated test suites, working closely with Software Engineers. Your responsibilities include creating expertise in data technologies and platform components, maintaining test coverage, managing regression pipelines, and overseeing release management. A day in the life includes developing automation frameworks, collaborating with development teams, designing and executing automated test suites, performing manual testing, and working with CI/CD tools. You will troubleshoot issues and improve product quality, analyzing test results, and providing feedback. The role requires hands-on experience with building processes, CI processes, and managing QA environments.
Must have:
- 5+ years of experience in software testing
- Strong programming skills in Java or Python
- Experience with building and CI processes
- Experience working with Git and Jenkins
Good to have:
- Proficiency in UI Automation / Cypress
- Proficiency in Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or Kubernetes

As a Sr SDET
You will be the gatekeeper for product and platform quality and come up with Project/Feature system test strategy, test plans, resource planning, and execution strategy. Develop maintainable test automation tools, and automated test suites. You will also work closely with Software Engineers and solution engineers from the beginning of the development/test cycle and be an integral part of the engineering team. A day in the life of Sr SDET
- Develop, design, and maintain test automation frameworks and tools using programming languages such as Java or Python.
- Collaborate with development teams to develop test strategies and plans for new product features.
- Design, execute, and maintain automated test suites to ensure the quality of our products.
- Perform manual testing when necessary, and identify and report defects.
- Work with build management tools like Git, Jenkins, and other CI/CD tools to ensure smooth build and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and improve product quality.
- Monitor and analyze test results, and provide feedback to development teams to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.
You are a great fit for this role if you have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing.
- Strong programming skills in Java or Python, and other scripting languages.
- Hands-on experience with building processes, CI processes, and managing QA environments.
- Experience working with build management tools like Git and Jenkins.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Bonus Points for
- Proficiency in UI Automation / Cypress.
- Proficiency in Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or Kubernetes are highly desirable.
