This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools, ensuring data quality, building data models, and implementing data integration solutions. The engineer will collaborate with data analysts and scientists, troubleshoot issues, and stay updated on the latest data engineering technologies. Must have:

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools and technologies.
- Develop and maintain data quality checks and data validation processes.
- Build and optimize data models for data warehousing and analytics.
- Implement data integration solutions using various sources and technologies (e.g., databases, APIs, Kafka).
- Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand their data needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
- Participate in the entire data lifecycle, from data ingestion to data consumption.
- Stay current on the latest data engineering technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a related data role.
- Strong experience with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
- Extensive experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, data loading, and query optimization.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools and technologies (e.g., Airbyte).
- Experience with stream processing platforms like Kafka.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with data governance and data security best practices.
